Famous Veterans Yoruba actor, Aworo Now A Full Time Babalawo In Ado Ekiti (Photo)

Veteran Yoruba actor Chief Jimoh Aliu (MFR), who is popularly known as Aworo is in the news.  For some years now,  Aworo has been out of the movie scene after his relocation to Ekiti State and the reason behind that was unknown to many.While some people were insinuating that he made that decision to stay away from the many crisis in ANTP before the union later collapsed and some other people had other insinuations different from that.  

However, Yorubamoviegist.com can reveal to you from findings, that the Fopomoyo producer has partially dumped acting to become a full time Babalawo (an Herbalist) in Ado Ekiti, the capital of his current state of abode. A close source also hinted to us that  one of the main reasons he made the decision was because he is  fed up with the film industry in Nigeria. Because after the seriuos stress they go through to shoot their movies, CD pirates mass priduce it and thereby make all the gain while the movie owner woul run at a loss. And with his status and age in the industry, he can’t just cope with that. The source further told us that when Aworo travelled abroad, he saw many of Nigeria videos in shops and his heart skipped over how those CDs got abroad. And rather than continue shooting films, he later decided to be writing books. He is said to have written about 3 books which one of them is written for Lagos, Ogun, Kwara and Oyo states’ secondary schools. Another one is “Ojulowo Ogun Ekiti Parapo” which came out not too long ago, and the third one is titled “Yankan Yanrin”.  With his new calling (Baba Alawo), Aworo is said to be living a good life now due to the fact that he has a lot of foreigners as customers.
