18 year old Kevin Jazrael Davis (pictured left) has been sentenced to 
life in prison for killing his own mother. According to reports, Kevin 
attacked his mother (pictured right) with a hammer, striking her 20 
times on the head, on March 26th 2014 at their home and then had s*x 
with her corpse.<br />
<br />
According to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, in a police video showed 
to jurors during his trial, Kevin confessed to having violent and s*xual
 fantasies involving women, 
including his own mother and sister. He attacked his mother when they 
were alone and turned himself in to police the next day.<br />
<br />
Kevin, who told police that he was not insane and knew what he was 
doing, said he put his hand inside her mother's head to feel her brain 
and then lost his v*rginity to her corpse. He was sentenced to life in 
prison on Wednesday October 8th

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">“On the 8th of October 2014 I got assaulted by a Policewoman. This is what happened. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">On my way 
home from Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Lagos State, Nigeria with a friend Maduka 
Benson after my NYSC clearance our vehicle (Honda accord) entered a hole
 which pulled part of the car bumper. The policewoman standing in front 
controlling the traffic kept shouting at us. And so Maduka who was 
driving, tried to explain to her that the car bumper was stuck, but she 
insisted that we should get out of the way. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">A man told 
my friend not to move, warning that if he did, the entire bumper would 
be ripped from the car. He then crossed over to our side of the road, 
and helped us fix the bumper so we could move on.</span><br />

policewoman named, Justina, walked towards the window, facing where I 
was sitting and shouted in broken English “SEE AS YOU FAT LIKE MUMU FULL
 THE MOTOR.” My friend and I came out from the car asking the woman what
 we had done wrong to be insulted in that manner.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">She kept 
shouting and raising hell. I was wearing my NYSC uniform at the time, so
 I walked towards her. Surprisingly, she pushed me back and pulled out 
her weapon (a baton) and hit me on my face three times.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">The first 
one knocked my glasses off my face while the rest hit parts of my face 
which resulted in instant bleeding. I bled for a long time while 
searching for the woman until I clearly heard her colleagues telling her
 to run and hide.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">The police 
woman took to their advice and ran away. Other policewomen suddenly 
surfaced at the scene and one of them started calling my friend an armed
 robber for no reason.We asked them which station they were from, but 
they refused to tell us.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Maduka then 
decided to block the entire road causing traffic, in order to force the 
police woman to reveal what police station they were from. Finally, one 
of the female police officers told us that they were from Makinde police
 station, in Mafoluku, Oshodi.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">A few 
minutes later a police Hilux vehicle arrived at the scene telling us to 
get back inside our car so we could go to Makinde police station. A 
police man sat at the back seat in our car, while the rest remained in 
their vehicle , driving in front of us to Makinde police station.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">When we got 
to the station my friend asked for the station officer (S.O) – but they 
said he wasn’t around. My friend and I tried to explain the situation to
 the two policewomen we met at the station. Suddenly, one of them 
started telling my friend to reduce his voice, saying that we should 
keep the incident a secret.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">One of the 
policemen who came to the scene where I was assaulted, approached  us 
and told us that his boss, who is a female, would like to see  us in her
 office. When we got to the office, she summoned the policewoman that 
assaulted me over the phone and also called another police man named 
David to investigate the matter.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">My friend narrated the incident to the police boss in detail.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">Justina, the
 policewoman who assaulted me finally came in for questioning. Their 
boss proceeded to ask her to explain what had happened. The policewoman 
then began to lie, saying that Maduka and I had beat her up, and that we
 took her police cap and removed buttons from her uniform.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,Times New Roman,serif;">After 
Justina’s stories, her superior could tell that she was lying. And so 
she ordered David to put Justina in a police cell. Afterwards we  wrote 
our statements.</span><br />

boss then begged us to  forgive Justina. She then took our phone numbers
 and promised to call us when they need us. We agreed and left the

intend to take proper legal action against Justina because she may have 
been brutalizing others and getting away with it.  We want her to face 
the consequences of her actions.”</span><br />

Rivers PDP leaders exchange blows in Abuja over Governorship

There was pandemonium at the National Campaign Office of the PDP in 
Maitama, Abuja on Thursday as thugs and politicians suspected to be 
loyalists of the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike, beat 
his suspected opponents.<br />
<br />
Wike is among those aspiring to be the governorship candidate of the party in Rivers State in 2015.<br />
<br />
The thugs, who were in their tens, used dangerous weapons, such as 
stick, bottles and stones to scare away members of the party from the 
state from gaining entrance into the building, where members of the 
National Integration Committee, South-South zone, were meeting.<br />
<br />
The meeting was aimed at settling grievances among members of the ruling
 party in the zone and Thursday was allotted to hear the grievances of 
those aggrieved in Rivers State. But only Wike and his supporters were 
allowed to enter the venue of the meeting.<br />
<br />
The top politicians who were beaten and prevented entry into the meeting are:<br />

Resources under former Governor Peter Odili; Mr. Lolo Ibieneye; Prof. 
Israel Owate, Dr. Sowaribi Tolofari, Mr. Sara Egbe and Chief Bekinbo 
Sobrekon.<br />
<br />
According to <a href="http://www.punchng.com/news/rivers-pdp-rivals-exchange-blows-in-abuja/" target="_blank">Punch</a>, some journalists were also harassed while others had either their cameras damaged or their tape recorders seized.<br />
<br />
Dick, who is a legal adviser to the Network for Defence of Democracy and
 Good Governance, suffered an injury near his left eye as a result of 
the beating.<br />
<br />
While the thugs were beating him, policemen attached to the venue of the
 meeting refused to intervene, as one of them said they were handicapped
 because of the personalities involved.<br />
<br />
However, the policemen joined the thugs to chase away rival politicians 
who were said not to be members of Wike’s Grassroots Democratic 
Initiatives.<br />
<br />
Dick, who spoke with our correspondent after the incident, said, “I came
 to defend the petition we sent to the committee, but see what happened 
here today.<br />
<br />
“I have been beaten by thugs and these thugs were joined by the 
policemen attached to someone who wants to be a governor of my state. We
 shall wait to see.”<br />
<br />
Ibineneye also said that he was shoved and beaten, but warned that the 
PDP in the state would soon explode, adding that what happened in Abuja 
would have been a child’s play if the meeting had held in the state.<br />
<br />
He said that out of 22 people who brought petitions to the committee, only four people were allowed inside.<br />
<br />
Another aggrieved member, who was also harassed and sent out through the
 gate of the building, Sara-Igbe insisted that there was no way another 
Ikwerre person would succeed the current governor of the state, Mr. 
Rotimi Amaechi.<br />
<br />
Sara-Igbe, who is from Aku-Toru Local Government Area of the state, 
said, “They are violating the party’s constitution in the state because 
the party recognises zoning of offices in the state and everywhere.<br />
<br />
“I’m a foundation member of the party in the state. These people went 
through the back door and brought a two-man executive. Since these two 
men came, they have been violating the party’s constitution. The party 
should listen to us or the party would fail in the state.”</div>

If parents can no longer trust their teenage daughters with their 
pastors, then what kind of society are we running here? I guess folks 
who have no business in the clergy are getting in by hook or crook. How

As you read this, a pastor in Enugu State has been arrested by the 
Police for allegedly impr*gnating a female member of his ministry and 
went a step further to force the girl to ab*rt the pregnancy.<br />
<br />
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who
 confirmed the alleged crime committed by the Pastor, said:<br />

“A pastor in charge of Hospital Chapel Ministry located at Obollo Eke in
 Udenu LGA of Enugu State and identified as Pastor Friday Onuh has said 
that he never impr*gnated one Miss Favour Onah and took her to a patent 
medicine dealer to ab*rt the baby as alleged by the parents of the 
girl. </blockquote>

“The pastor had allegedly impr*gnated the girl, a worshipper in his 
church and took her to a patent medicine dealer at Ikem in Isiuzo Local

Joshua, at the Federal High Court in Lagos for allegedly forcing a 
14-year-old girl and others into pr*stitution.

committed the crime at his Daka Hotel at Seme border, Badagry.</div>

NAPTIP said they lured two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, from Benin City, Edo State, into pr*stitution.</div>

The alleged offence, NAPTIP said, is 
contrary to Section 15(a) of the Trafficking In Person (Prohibition) Law
 Enforcement and Admnistration Act, 2003.</div>

 The agency said Ruth lured the 
14-year-old on January 10, 2010 to Badagry for the purpose of forcing 
her into pr*stitution, while Tasowia was alleged to have deceived the 
17-year-old on February 7, 2010.</div>

Joshua was accused of running a hotel 
where teenagers were forced into pr*stitution and for benefiting from 
the proceeds of such illicit business, Ajose, the hotels manager, was 
charged with encouraging underaged persons into pr*stitution.</div>

Adesanya was accused of organising the illicit business and remitting the proceeds to the hotel owner through its manager.</div>

Yesterday, a NAPTIP investigator, Mrs. 
Agboko Comfort, said Ajose and Adesanya were arrested on March, 5, 2010,
 adding that Joshua was arrested when he appeared at the agency’s office

A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God  who was kidnapped 10 
months ago escaped from Boko Haram militants in Borno on Tuesday.<br />

Pastor Rotimi Obajimi, who served as a pastor in the rural area of 
Borno/Yobe province, was on his to Maiduguri on January 6th this year 
when Boko Haram militants abducted him.<br />

Another pastor in Redeem church Maiduguri told SaharaReporters that they
 were surprised to see Mr. Obajimi emerge from nowhere, he said,<br />
 “We were so amazed to see him because we have been praying earnestly 
for long time trusting Jesus that he would surely come back but lo and 
behold he was brought to our headquarters in Maiduguri by the 
 military.”<br />

statement. He said, "We were amazed to see him because we have been 
praying earnestly"...Why would you be surprised to see someone you have 
been praying to see?..Except you don't believe in what you are praying

Pastor Rotimi told his colleagues that was taken to Sambisa Forest where
 he was tied down for months, he was later  moved to an unknown 
destination and thereafter  brought   back to Sambisa forest again. He 
reportedly told his colleagues that his escape was made possible by a 
heavy downpour that led to massive floods which sacked everyone in the 
camps. <br />
<br />
Due to the rains, armed men left him and others so he was able to escape
 and for days he  wandered in the forest before he could arrive to a 
village where the military picked him up after narrating his experiences
 to them, they later brought him to Maiduguri.<br />
<br />
He  was later driven to Maimallari Hospital by military escorts,who had his face covered.<br />
<br />
Another pastor revealed that the senior military official at 7 Division 
has advised them to relocate  the pastor to Redemption Camp in Lagos for
 his safety, in fact, adequate provision has been made to fly  him out 
of Maiduguri according to the pastor.<br />

A military source at 7 Division confirmed the escape of Pastor Obajimi 
claiming that he has been fully debriefed by the military.<br />
