 little body and felt the most unbreakable bond as I became a mum for

 husband Toby handed me a plate. It wasn’t a sandwich or hearty meal. It

into small pieces the deep red, raw organ, that filled a small dinner

the motion until every morsel had gone and all that remained on the

Fast-rising Yoruba actress, Temmy who has spent the past 5 years in a 
Dubai prison for drug trafficking has been released and is back in

actress who rocked many party scenes in Lagos before she was caught in 
the web of drug trafficking by Dubai authorities came back into the 
country last week. She arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport
 Lagos into the waiting hands of the father of her baby girl. City 
People Magazine has it on good authority that Temmy and her man will 
soon be walking down the aisle. As you read this, the actress has not 
indicated any intention to return to movie location to continue her 
career in acting.<br />

About 5 years ago, news filtered in from the oil rich United Arab 
Emirates State of Dubai that Temmy had been jailed for 10 years for drug
 trafficking. Nothing was heard about her until a year later when news 
broke that she has been delivered of a baby girl while in prison.<br />

Sources who know the high flying actress confirmed to City People 
magazine, that shortly before her arrest in Dubai, she was seen around 
with a top baron in Dubai. Having a baby, traditionally, is a thing of 
joy, but for the beautiful Nigerian actress it’s a sad tale to have her 
first baby in a gas chamber and worst of it all, far from her 
fatherland, Nigeria. A source revealed:<br />

“Nigerians in Dubai have neglected Temmy like a bad habit for fear of 
arrest. All her efforts to reach her close pals in Dubai to come to her 
aid shortly after she had the baby proved abortive as friends and 
business associates have all avoided her like a plague.”<br />

Though, Temmy initially bagged a 21-year jail term, her condition as a 
pregnant woman then, was said to have made them reduce it to 10 years. 
It will be recalled that when Temmy was arrested for drugs, she was not 
lucky enough when the custodians of UAE law and constitution found her 
wanting aside the drug issue. <br />

Temmy, CP learnt, had police cases of stealing and forgery inside Dubai 
major markets and had been warned severally never to return to country 
again. But as fate would have it, she was said to have used another 
forged name and documents to enter Dubai while she was trafficking 
drugs. Left with no choice of curbing her excesses, the UAE authorities 
gave her two options. Firstly, to be amputated on her left arm and right
 leg or face 21 years imprisonment. She however fell for the latter. </div>

 23-year-old National Diploma, ND, student of Mass Communication 
Department, Ibarapa Polytechnic, yesterday, narrated how she was r*ped 
under a tree by one of the security men attached to Operation Burst set 
up by Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State to check criminality in the 
state.<br /><br />The incident was said to have happened in Eruwa from 10.30
 pm on August 29 this year while she was returning after seeing off a 
friend.<br />She said she was r*ped repeatedly for five hours before she was let off the hook by the rapist soldier.<br /><br />According to her, the soldier allegedly ordered her to climb the motorcycle while threatening to stab her with a knife.She said:</span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">“It
 happened on Friday, August 29, 2014. I was coming back to my room after
 seeing off a friend. He accused me of being a cultist for moving about 
around that time, but I denied it. He then ordered me to climb his 
motorcycle, but I pleaded with him that he should let me go.He removed a
 knife and said that he would stab me if I refused to obey him. So 
scared, I climbed the Okada and he took me to the Operation Burst office
 in Eruwa.When we got there, he forcefully led me to a dark area under a
 tree and ordered me to remove my dress to enable him see if I had 
tattoos on my body. I told him I did not have tattoos and that he should
 let me go. He then removed the knife again and said that he would 
slaughter me like a ram if I failed to ‘cooperate’ and that I would be 
buried like many other girls who had failed to cooperate in the past, 
and nobody would trace my death to him. Sensing danger, I removed my 
clothes. He ordered me to lie down under the tree and had s*x with me 
several times while I was crying.He r*ped me till 3.30 am and I 
complained of catching cold. He entered into the office and brought out a
 bottle of beer. He gave it to me to hold for him.Later he said he was 
going to bring a blanket for me to cover my body. I waited for about 30 
minutes, but when he did not return, I dressed up and ran away.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />The victim’s counsel, Mr. Adeosun, confirmed her story, saying:</span></span><br />

 the morning of Saturday, August 30, 2014, the victim called her parents
 on the telephone and told them what happened. It was the parents that 
came to brief our office. We thereafter advised that the victim should 
report to the Police Station at Eruwa, which she did. When the matter 
was reported to the security outfit, the girl identified the rapist 
among other security operatives paraded before her.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />To
 worsen her ordeal, the Eruwa General Hospital where she went for test 
did not help matter. According to her, on arrival in the hospital, the 
doctor she met told her to buy hand gloves which she did.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />She said:</span></span><br />
<blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">“The
 doctor told me to lie down and use his phone torchlight to examine my 
private and wrote a report that although there was no trace of s*men, 
the private had been tampered with.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />It
 was gathered that the doctor claimed he could not carry out test on the
 inner part of the v*gina because the hospital did not have the 
facilities to carry out such test.<br /><br />The victim’s lawyer said a 
soldier called him at 8.25 pm on Sunday informing him that the Army had 
commenced court martial trial on the indicted soldier, but that the 
student must appear to testify.<br /><br />Responding, Special Adviser to 
the Governor on Media, Dr. Festus Adedayo, quoted the security outfit as
 saying it had recommended the suspect for disciplinary measure for 
abandoning his duty post.In a statement issued by the outfit’s Second in
 Command, CSP Elijah Bawa,</span></span><br />

student of the school lodged a complaint with the command that she had 
been r*ped by the soldier who was also an operative of the anti-crime 
outfit.</span></span><br />

 outfit’s Second in Command and the DPO took the complainant to the 
Eruwa General Hospital for medical examination, the result of which they

The Federal Government has reopened First Consultant Hospital in 
Obalende, Lagos where Liberian Patrick Sawyer, the first case of Ebola
 in Nigeria, died from complications of the disease.  <br /><br />In a 
letter sent to the Lagos state Ministry of Health, the Federal 
Government said after having undergone three rounds of state-certified decontamination

player Ray Rice is having the worst time of his life right now after TMZ
 released a sickening video of him punching his then fiancee and now

Ray. The NFL knew the incident happened because Ray was charged with

NFL for domestic violence. But everything changed when TMZ released the 
video yesterday and people saw exactly what Ray did to his fiancee. <br />

Now the Baltimore Ravens have not only terminated his $40 million 
contract, the President of the US, the governor of Maryland, the NFL, 
and some of his teammates have all released statements condemning his

The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has rejected 
the Monday September 22nd resumption directive given by FG to all 
Primary and Secondary schools due to the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria.</div>
The NMA speaking through its National 
Publicity Secretary, Dr Olawunmi Layaki, said they expect all 
schools to remain closed until December or early next year when all Ebola suspects under
 surveillance have been cleared
 and certified free of the virus. </div>

"We are not happy with this decision on the resumption of schools. 
Schools should be shut till the last suspected case or patient is 
certified free of the virus. We can shift the resumption date till

Government should have enough time to follow the standard procedure for 
containing   the virus. Parents have no reason to be   in a

dimension. Children cannot survive isolation like adults. Nigeria is peculiar because of her large
 population and we should be pragmatic and proactive. It   will not 
augur well for the country if we have another outbreak due to 
carelessness.” it said</div>

In the same vein, the chairman of 
the Lagos state chapter of the association, Dr Tope Ojo said most public
 schools lack basic hygienic facilities and this would expose the 
students to easy spread of the virus. </div>

not have cost the Federal 
Government anything to have waited till those under surveillance have 
completed the 21 days in all the states where they are being monitored. 
The government knows that it takes a 
longer time for children to get used to the idea of hygiene and 
sanitation. They are even more vulnerable because they would play with 
each other whether they are sick or not. How many children know that 
they should use hand sanitizers or avoid contact with anybody that has 
fever? Waiting till October when at least the 
situations in Rivers and Lagos states would have been conclusively 
managed is another safety measure the government should have taken. 
These kids are not studying to get a degree, so we are sure it would not
 have affected schools’ curricula.” he said</blockquote>
