The suspect was also said to have confessed to be the owner of the building.<br /> <br /><br />It was further learnt that the ex-customs officer, Angela Kery, and the young girl, simply identified as Obiagulum, had been declared missing from home since May 10.<br /> <br />It was learnt that after a series of investigations which led to the arrest of Azeez, the suspect confessed to have killed the missing woman and her daughter and buried them in the structure.<br /> <br />Many residents in the area said they had never met the owner of the structure, adding that the gates of the compound were always locked.<br /> <br />A landlord in the area, who craved anonymity, said, "We never knew who the owner of the house was. It was usually locked and I have yet to observe any form of human presence. Now it is shocking to realise that it is a kidnappers' den. That means all of us are not safe.<br /> <br />"We learnt that the victims had been buried in the sitting room. They said ritual killers had killed a woman and her daughter and buried them."<br /> <br />Another resident, who identified herself simply as Mrs. Adedotun, claimed that the suspect owned a hospital and a petrol station in other areas of Lagos and Ogun states.<br /> <br />"I heard he is also called Doctor because he runs a hospital. Some people call him Alhaji. He scarcely comes to stay in the house. We never knew it was because he had buried two human beings in his compound," she noted.<br /> <br />The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, said she would call our correspondent back, which she had yet to do as of the time of going to press.<br /> <br />But the acting Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Opeyemi, confirmed the incident.<br /> <br />He said, "Actually, it is not our case. The case belongs to the SARS of the Lagos State Police command. But we brought our men from Ajuwon to ensure that people in the area do not burn the structure. Man Arrested For Killing Mother, Child & Removing Body Parts For Ritual In Ogun

<b>The police of Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State has arrested a man for killing mother and a child and mutilating their bodies.</b><br /><br />According to the Acting Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident, the suspect kidnapped the two victims, killed and buried them in his house. Boko Haram: Suicide Bomber Kills 3 Soldiers In Borno

<b>Three soldiers lost their lives on Sunday when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a military checkpoint in Gwoza town, Borno state near the border with Cameroon.</b><br /><br />In the early morning attack which residents blamed on Boko Haram, three soldiers were also injured.<br />AFP reports that the attack happened at about 7a.m. but the news of the incident took several hours to emerge due to the area's poor telephone network following the destruction of telecom masts in previous Boko Haram attacks.<br /><br />According to a resident, Dahiru Yunusa, the blast was heard throughout the town.<br />Another resident, Musa Buzu, after the blast, residents rushed to the scene to look at the mangled remains of the car used by the suicide bomber, adding that the scene was cordoned off by the military until 4:00 pm.<br /><a name='more'></a><br /><br />"The town was still asleep when the suicide bomber attacked the checkpoint with a deafening explosion that awoke the whole town," Buzu said.<br /><br />Military spokesmen were not available to comment on the attack.<br />Gwoza, which is 100 kilometres (60 miles) from state capital Maiduguri, has come under repeated attack by the terrorists, leaving many dead.<br /><br />Early June, Boko Haram had attacked 3 villages situated in Gwoza LGA. Officials confirmed that 110 people died and 2000 were displaced in the attack.<br /><br />Last month, the traditional monarch of Gwoza, Idrissa Timta, was killed when Boko Haram gunmen ambushed the convoy of three emirs on their way to the funeral of another influential emir.
