<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Kenyan 
publication Standard Digital said he was arrested at his Nairobi Crown 
Plaza hotel over the weekend. According to the website, when confronted 
by the hotel’s staff, things got heated, which led them to calling 
police. Somehow Victoria Kimani’s name was also in the mix.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">“Visiting 
Nigerian singer Wizkid was arrested from his Nairobi Crown Plaza Hotel 
room on Saturday afternoon and quizzed by police only hours before his 
flight back to Lagos.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">The arrest 
was in connection with allegations that he was caught smoking illegal 
substances. The incident happened at around 1pm just as the Caro singer 
was checking out of his hotel room where he has been staying for a week,
 since his last week’s concert.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Before 
police officers cuffed him and drove him to Capital Hill Police Station 
where he was quizzed, the hotel had already charged him with 50,000 
Kenyan Shillings smoking penalty, which he paid through his credit card.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Coming to 
his rescue was his newly found Kenyan flame Victoria Kimani, who 
followed him to the police station shortly after he had been arrested. 
Victoria had been with the singer at the hotel the previous day. Wizkid 
was due to leave for Lagos at around 3pm and was forced to cancel the 
flight due to the drama.”</span><br />

 intentions to contest for the House of Representative seat of Ogbomosho

 have passion for politics; I want to make changes in the society. I 
have noticed so many things wrong in my community and constituency so I

entertainer has since revealed that the calls from his people to run for
 the seat of Rivers State Governor prompted his decision to wade into 
politics.<br /><br />“Becoming the governor of Rivers State was not 
something that came up overnight. It was not on my radar back then. The 
people of Rivers State in the Diaspora and those in the State have been 
clamouring for me to come out as an aspirant. They believe I have what 
it takes to go for it. It just dawned on me that I indeed have what it 
takes. I have given it a serious thought and have given in to their

his campaign poster on his Twitter page revealing that he is seeking a 
seat at the Kwara State House of Assembly.<br /><br />Tony Tetuila will be running under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).<br /><br />One of his campaign photos was a trending item on the Nigerian social media as many criticized the style of his hair.<br /><br /><br />Kenneth Okonkwo<br /><br />According
 to the 46-year old actor, his chances are very bright because he is a 
child of God who has unflinching love for his people. He said he was 
pressured to vie for a political post from his people.<br /><br />In his 
words, “I have a God that will supply all my needs according to His 
riches by Christ Jesus. I have my people that are sending me, who are 
supporting me both morally and financially. I have great friends and 
fans supporting me. My chances are very bright. I also have the love of a
 lot of prominent members of my party because of my modest achievements 
in Nollywood and some live television appearances where we discuss 
national issues.”<br /><br />Kate Henshaw<br /><br />The Onga seasoning Ambassador said she's taking a break from acting to join politics for eight years.<br /><br />The
 actress cited lengthy stays in politics as reason for much of the 
problems in Nigeria, on top of corruption on the part of government

that she will not enter politics for the purpose of financial gain,

 celebrity bitten by the political bug is veteran actor, Jibola Dabor, 
as he is currently strategizing on how to clinch the ticket to represent
 his people of Owo Federal Constituency, Ondo State, at the House of 
Representatives.<br /><br />“I can still do one or two movies because 
nothing in the constitution says I can’t do movies but I know there 
won’t be time to do much movies. I’m not quitting, I’m just taking a 
break to give back to the people because I’ve realized that the industry
 has taken me to a particular peak. Giving back is not going to be easy 
from that industry, but if I’m part of a voice, I can better develop the
 industry and give back to the community.<br /><br />If elected, I will 
concentrate on rural development. I’m quite experienced in the cultural 
activities in my constituency and I know how we can use the basic things
 we have in the land to enrich the youths in particular,” he had

Adesiyan is also exploring the political scene. Friends and fans of the 
actress flooded social media recently with posters of the actress.<br /><br />Adesiyan is seeking an elective office in the Oyo State House of Assembly representing the Ibadan South-East constituency.<br /><br />However,
 the actress is yet to unveil her political party but strongly believes 
she would be successful in her political ambition.<br /><br />As an actress, Funke has featured in several blockbuster movies<br /><br /><br />Yemi Solade<br /><br />Yoruba Actor, Yemi Solade would be contesting for a senatorial seat in Ondo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).<br /><br />The

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">You were said to have been detained in Amsterdam recently. What exactly happened at the airport?</span><br />

told anybody the experience, because it was not as big as many people 
had feared. When I got to the airport, I was accosted by an interpol 
officer who insisted that he must see what I had in my luggage. I told 
them I was an actor and gave them the jacket of some of my movies to 
prove I was one, but they said they needed something more than that to 
prove I was not coming into their country for another mission. I asked 
them to Google my name and they searched for it. When they got it, they 
were the ones that took me to where I was going to board another flight 
to my destination, because we only had a stop over in Amsterdam.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">But it was reported that you were delayed for more than a day, is that true?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">No, that is a
 lie. I don’t know why people write what they don’t know. I have just 
told you that I was not detained, let alone delayed for more than a day.
 We had a stop over and it was only normal for them to check everybody, 
especially someone who was carrying a bigger luggage. I always tell my 
friends that whenever you are travelling, make sure you are clean and 
never help anybody to carry their luggage for them. You never can tell 
what the other person is carrying in his bag.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">You have become a household name in the movie industry, could you tell us how you got to this level today?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I have come a
 long way and I have had my fair share of  challenges, some of which 
almost forced me out of the business. If I start to tell you what I have
 gone through before getting to this meaningful level, it will shock 
you.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Your fans will want to know. Shocking tales could be exciting sometimes…</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Let me give 
you an example of what I went through. Can you imagine a man sleeping 
inside a room where more than 20 guys sleep every night? This guy slept 
inside this room for more than 30 years. Out of those 30 people, if one 
of them now builds a mansion and starts living a good life where he has 
access to everything he needs, I am sure he won’t remember that he once 
lived in a one room that housed more than 20 guys. That was exactly what
 happened to my life. My story is what you can describe as somebody who 
rose from grass to grace.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">Could you explain further on how acting changed your life?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I started 
acting in 1992. I am sure a baby that was born in that year would have 
become a graduate today and probably planning to settle down. I have 
been in the industry since 1992, doing all sorts of things with no hope 
of something good coming one’s way.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">All sorts of things? How do you mean?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I have been 
through a lot in my life. Don’t let’s dwell on that for now. The journey
 has been very tough and rough for me but I thank God that things have 
changed for me today and I am enjoying my career today because God 
favoured me.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">From 1992 to 2012 when the name Kamilu Kompo surfaced, what did you do differently that actually helped your career?</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">What could I
 have done without the help of God? The fact is that when God is ready 
to change the story of your life, you will only be imagining what is 
happening. You won’t understand it. One thing I can tell you is that I 
have been very hardworking over the years and I have never given up on 
myself even though there were days that I felt like quitting. The 
ability to have come this far must have come from God and nobody else.</span><br />

So Sad! Captain of South Africa’s national team, Senzo Meyiwa has been 
shot dead according to multiple sources in South Africa. Although 
details are still sketchy, the Orlando Pirates Goalkeeper was shot dead 
early Sunday morning.<br />

His death has since been confirmed by the South African Football Association (SAFA).<br />

SAFA spokesperson Dominic Chimhavi confirmed the death of 27-year-old according to<a href="http://www.supersport.com/football/south-africa/news/141026/Senzo_Meyiwa_shot_dead" target="_blank"> Super Sport</a>.<br />

Meyiwa who also captains Orlando Pirates still played yesterday,  on 
Saturday at Orlando stadium in their Telkom Knockout 4-1 quarterfinal
