He accused them of <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD8">reproducing</span> his song on <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">the show</span> and airing it on air as well as their you tube channel without his consent.<a name='more'></a></div><div class="MsoNormal"></div><div class="MsoNormal"></div><div class="MsoNormal">According to a source, Paul Play wouldn't have sued them if only the companies agreed to his terms when his lawyers wrote them, but  they turned deaf ears to him and his lawyers instead, which left them  with no choice than to sue them.</div><div class="MsoNormal"></div><div class="MsoNormal">Paul Play has sued them for N200m for special and general damages for  the flagrant and unlawful exploitation of his copyrighted work. The case is expected to  be heard in court soon. 2015 AFCON: Rwanda To Play Super Eagles In Qualifier

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><strong>Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been presented with their last  opponents in the group phase of qualifiers for the 2015 Orange Africa  Cup of Nations, AFCON, holding in Morocco.</strong><br /> <br />The seven teams for the group phase of the Nations Cup were revealed  at the weekend after the second leg matches of the second round of the  qualifiers.<br /> <br />The teams are: Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Uganda.<br /> Rwanda will now join Nigeria, South Africa and Sudan in Group A of  the qualifiers scheduled to commence 5 September, to 19 November, 2014.<br /> <br />Rwanda qualified for the group phase after it edged out Congo on penalties on Saturday.<br /> <br />The biggest casualties of the second round of qualifiers were Kenya  and Tanzania, who will yet again have to wait for another two years to  realise their dreams of participating at the continent’s showpiece  football event for the first time in as many years.<br /><a name='more'></a><br /> <br />Sierra Leone had the easiest of paths, going through without kicking a  ball following the withdrawal of Tanzania from the second leg because  of the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in the country. Idris also made it known that most of the foreigners  that worship at the SCOAN are majorly from countries of the West African  sub-Region, which had already been infected by the Ebola disease.<br /><div id="article_end"><br />However, the Synagogue leader, Prophet Temitope Joshua, who is also  the general overseer of the SCOAN, pledged his loyalty to the state  government, making known his intentions to join the government in  combating the deadly disease.<br /> <br />Assuring the ministry of health of his decision to work with the  government, he promised to rather visit any of the countries instead of  allowing them troupe into Nigeria, putting the whole nation at risk of  the Ebola virus.<br /><br />He also promised to suspend some of his major Church  healing programmes for a few weeks adding:<br /> <br />“<em>I am ready to work with you. I love my country and I will be  ready to work with you. Even if it is a rumour, there is need to secure  our environment to ensure that it is safe.</em><br /> <br />It would be recalled that just recently, a popular Nollywood actor Jim Iyke recently fled Liberia without having been tested for Ebola.<br /> </div></div>

Fulani Herdsmen Attack Christian Worshippers In Kaduna

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div><strong>Worshippers at Sunday’s morning mass in a catholic church  located in Ungwan Powpow village in Kachia local government of Kaduna  State were attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen.</strong></div><div> </div><div>According to SaharaReporters, the attack led to death of one of the  worshippers while others reportedly sustained gunshot wounds during the  attack.</div><div> </div><div><strong></strong><b><br /></b></div><div> </div><div>A security source who did want his name in print confirmed the  incident said the assailants retreated following a swift response from  security operatives to the scene.</div><div> </div><div>He said security operatives had taken the wounded worshippers to an undisclosed hospital in the area.</div><div> </div><div><em>“There would have been more dead people at that church today if we did not intervene as quickly as we did,” </em>the security source said.<a name='more'></a></div><div> </div><div>The source promised that those responsible for the attack would be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.</div><div>Some members of the community said they were tired of the incessant  attacks by Fulani herdsmen, and called on relevant security agents to  bring the perpetuators to book in order to avert reprisal attacks.</div><div> </div><div><strong><br /></strong></div><div> </div><div>Meanwhile, southern has been engulfed in frequent violence  allegedly perpetuated by Fulani herdsmen over disputes emanating from  grazing land for cattle or religious differences.</div></div>

Until they were declared  missing, the toddlers were pupils of Master’s Vessel Academy, a private  school in Obeozalla Nkanu West Local Government Area, Enugu State.<br /> Heart-rending tale about the missing kids began when the proprietress  of the school, Mrs Dorothy Okafor, had to undertake an assignment  outside the school and handed over to her deputy, 35-year-old Uchechukwu  Onah, to take charge of the school. No not long after Okafor left, Onah  allegedly dismissed the pupils at noon instead of the normal 4.00pm  closing time of school.<br /><a name='more'></a><br /> <br />Hell broke loose when the father of the children came at the usual  time to pick them up and discovered that the toddlers could not be  found.<br /> <br />The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu told  Sunday Sun that the mother of the children then alerted the proprietress  of the school, who immediately summoned all the teachers to gather, but  Onah herself could not be found. A report was made to the State  Criminal Investigation Department and Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the  Enugu State Police Command.<br /> <br />Explaining what followed, Adamu said: “We arrested all the teachers  of the school and took them to the State Criminal Investigation  Department, Enugu, where we screened them. They were all released later.<br /><br />When we called Onah she told us that she was sick and we started  looking for her until July 3, 2014 when policemen in Agbani, Nkanu West  LGA arrested her.”<br /> <br />Telling her own side of the story, the proprietress of the school,  Okafor said: “I was shocked when I heard that two pupils of the same  parents in my school were missing. I was away from the school on  assignment. Before leaving I handed over the school to my deputy.  Immediately I left she dismissed the pupils around 12.00pm instead of  4.00pm. So when I heard that two pupils were missing, I had to call all  the teachers. When they came, I didn’t see Mrs Onah.<br /> <br />Policemen from the State CID came and arrested all the teachers, took  them away screened everybody and later released them. But I couldn’t  find Onah and I was worried. We started looking for her. She called me  and said she was sick. She said she couldn’t come out and see me. Four  days after the children were missing she still refused to come out. So  policemen in Agbani, Nkanu West went and arrested her.”<br /> \<br />As would be expected, the father of the missing children is  distraught and agonizing over the whereabouts of the toddlers. He said:  “These are the only two children I have. We always go to the school to  pick them around 4.00pm. But on that day we came we learnt that the  school had closed around 12.00 pm. I was worried and we started looking  for my two children. The teachers that were present in the school also  assisted us but we were unable to locate my children.”<br /> <br />While acknowledging that she was on duty on the fateful day, the  prime suspect in the case, Onah, said she stayed back in the school  after all the pupils were dismissed to go home.<br /> <br />Her words: “When everybody left I didn’t go home and I later heard  that a certain parent didn’t see his children. The daughter of the  school proprietress told me that one of the primary pupils took them  home. When they called me I told the proprietress that I was sick. I was  at home when the police came and arrested me.”<br /> <br />The police are still trying to unravel the misery behind it, and  implore members of the public to come forward with any useful  information that can lead to the recovery of the children.</div>

The EFCC came dead in the night and  started collecting them like criminals, they took them to Abuja; and we  followed them, there was just no question, nothing. At the end of the  day, I don’t know what happened, they granted us bail and the case is  still in court,” he said.<a name='more'></a><br /><br />“It is not that they stole money. I have never seen this kind of thing  anywhere, where authorities come to the state, to collect people in the  night, I am talking about elected state legislators.<br /><br />He noted that PDP did not stop at that. “Just recently, we have the same  case, after we joined the APC, they came with one ‘hawk’. I think he is  from Kebbi, he was calling them to his house, you know Kano is a great  state, we want people to come and settle in Kano, but many of them are  trying to become enemies but we don’t mind because Kano is so  attractive.<br /><br />He then quizzed the motive of the person he referred to as a ‘hawk’...<br /><div><a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1273158107245326844" name="more"></a><div>“If you are from Kebbi, why can’t you go there and talk about Kebbi, why  don’t you go there and start talking about Kebbi. Maybe because Kebbi  is so small that you cannot talk about it. They are here creating all  sorts of trouble.”<br /><br />“They are meeting in his house discussing all sorts of things; but God  so kind by the time they started the meeting, they were already  celebrating and they told Abuja that they have gotten the Speaker and  majority of the APC executive. PDP now has the legislature thinking that  because they got the principal officers and gave them money, everybody  will follow.<br /><br />“By the time I called them, we had meeting on a Friday which ran into  Saturday. And by Sunday, they came from Abuja and put them in the  aircraft but to their surprise by Monday morning, I told them to go and  declare that instead of 31 members for APC, we were now having 34! So,  they have been trying, but we are politicians here and we have been in  the game.”<br /><br />He told PM News: “I have been here, I have been there, I have been all  over; and I have some doses now, dose you know. I will use this dose  when necessary and I believe all politicians in my position do the same.<br /><br />“Even General Buhari have said what I want to say now, that I have never  seen a situation like this where the biggest beneficiary of this  democracy are the ones destroying it. You ask me who is happy? I should  be one of them, my people should be all happy, we have performed, we  have done so many things that can enable us to be happy but  unfortunately, we are not happy because of what they are doing.<br /><br />“Politics should not be seen as enmity, politics should not be seen as  something that you have to destroy this or that. The very forces that  they used in Ekiti, they used in Adamawa, which they are now using in  Nasarawa, I am sure they want to try it again in Osun. These are the  forces that they should have been using in the North-eastern states.<br /><br />“On Ekiti election day, the whole state was taken over and dominated. I  don’t think Ekiti is as big as Sambisa Forest, you go and dominate  there, why are you dominating an innocent state? And what they don’t  know is that the party taking seats by force from other states does not  give them automatic success in 2015. In this state in 2011, I had no one  counselor, I had no one local government chairman, I had no  commissioner, I had no governor, even our friends who were suppose to  help us from Abuja, didn’t believe in us, but we won election.<br /><br />“So, if you take Ekiti, you go and take Nasarawa, you are forcing  everybody does not guarantee victory. And there was an advertisement on  NTA which made me very angry. It showed the Commander-In-Chief smiling  by this their transformation agenda ambassadors. These are faceless  organisations with backing of the headquarters in the Villa. They are  faceless, who are they? tell me, the Commander-In-Chief?<br /><br />He then questioned the credibility and independence of the military. “I  use to know the credibility of the Nigerian military. I use to know how  much they were respected even outside the country but now, where is  their respect. I am happy Rochas Okorocha is also advertising his own  achievements. Tell me what the Commander-In-Chief is doing. All this against the  elderly, respectable General, because they see it as a fancy tool to  generate animosity against their strongest single adversary… as a tool  to hold on to power?<br /><br />It is one thing to fabricate a lie against someone. It is another thing  to transplant an evil of your doing unto a person who you know is  innocent. That is the most evil, evil in the books in my humble view.  This precisely is what PDP did and continues to do. Buhari was nearly  bombed to death and the dogs continue to utter their putrid trash and  invented slanderous concoctions against the poor elderly gentleman. It  is frankly satanic. He is such a compassionate gentleman, no joke, if it  was me who had all the facts you will read below, I would have been all  over the place letting the truth be known and getting the slanderous  liars locked up forever.<br /><br />A Timeline of Lies and Slander:<br /><br />Major General Muhammadu Buhari never said he will make Nigeria ungovernable in 2011 in any public format<br /><br />Point number one needs no referencing. I’ve done the research tons of  times. Since I wrote my article, “Now that Nigeria is ungovernable, what  next,” on the 15th of March, 2014 [http://ends.ng/?p=679], no one has  commented and refuted my results. Buhari never in any public media  threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable in 2011. That is final fact.  Nothing more need be said.<br /><br />It was a PDP politician, Alhaji Lawal Kaita who actually said Nigeria  would be ungovernable if Jonathan became president in 2011.<br /><br />It was a PDP politician, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, who is quoted to have said,  “The North is determined if it happens, to make Nigeria ‘ungovernable’  for President Jonathan or any other Southerner who finds his way to the  seat of power on the platform of the PDP against the principle of the  party’s zoning policy.”<br /><br />The big problem was in PDP. When Yar’Adua died, PDP northern politicians  wanted power to stay in the north and as such they insisted that  Jonathan should not succeed him. It was PDP politicians and only PDP  politicians who threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable if Jonathan  emerged the party nominee and ascended to the presidency that will make  the nation ungovernable, which they did. And Jonathan knew this and know  them full well. He eats and dines with them but has watched us die in  our thousands and lose our farming land and livelihood whole he has not  brought a single one of them to book. He protects and goes to bed with  them so long as they focus the ungovernability on the north. One now  understand why Jonathan’s best man, former PDP Chairman and now  appointed Railway head, Bamanga Tukur famously said that Boko Haram was  fighting for justice and another name for justice. It’s an in house  thing. Boko Haram became an invaluable tool to be hired and utilized by  the party, and to be sustained as a weapon of slander against party  opponents. It helped to galvanize votes by nurturing strange harmony in  extremists and religious fanatics, especially northophobes who never  cared to study the truth. (Truths like- northerners select southerners  like Obasanjo or support Middle Belt Christians like Gowon into power;  and truth like; why will northerners bomb up their own home-land and  purposely destroy their chief resource – farming – to make a point).<br /><br />It was Jonathan’s media spokesman, Reuben Abati who sat down and largely  concocted the slanderous libel against Buhari’s name in April 2011.<br /><br />It was Reuben Abati of The Guardian; that our friend, that spun the yarn  about Buhari. It was Reuben that sat one dark night and concocted the  malicious slanderous tales, rerouting the PDP terror statement to  Buhari’s person. Reuben capitalized on our sectarianism, knowing full  well that to most of us, one Hausa, or Fulani man was just the same as  another Hausa or Fulani(to be more correct) man. Knowing that we had  heard the statement made by PDP’s Kaita, and with Buhari’s “Baboon and  Gorilla” Hausa adage with which he did promise that if what happened in  2011 repeated in 2015 (note the year), the Nigeria would witness a  people’s upheaval; Reuben manufactured a tale one April night in 2011  and published this in the Guardian. It was captioned, “For the attention  of general Buhari.” This was the article that was well buffered to make  many careless Nigerians jump on the evil and satanic bandwagon of  Buhari accusers. I have again fully well described Reuben for who he is  and what he did and how he did it, in the recent past. Buhari  took them to court for libel and slander. ‘Usual suspect’ General  Muhammadu Buhari’s lawyers threatened to sue the President of Nigeria’s  spokesperson, Reuben Abati in a letter sent on the 11th of July, 2011  for “inventing libelous” allegations against the person of the  ex-President, accusing him of instigating post-election violence. The  letter was sent on behalf of General Buhari by Harrison Ogalagu for his  lawyer, Tope Adebayo. The accusations had been made against him in  Rueben’s Guardian newspaper publication. It was in all major news media. The  Jonathan Presidency did beg General Muhammadu Buhari to settle out of  court. And the noble man that Buhari is; he accepted. When this was  happening, many of us read it but did not really realize what matter it  was about – that it was about the great tarnishing of General Buhari’s  name. It was in different media under the various captions – “Presidency  begs Buhari to settle slander case out of court,” in DailyPost  [http://dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-settle-slander-case-out-of-court/],  and “Presidency Begs Buhari To Settle Abati Libel Suit Out Of Court,”  in Leadership, etc.<br /><br /><b>Here’s a quote from leadership:</b><br />“The presidency has convinced former head of state General Muhammadu  Buhari to settle out of court the libel suit he had initiated against  the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Dr Reuben  Abati.<br /><br />Abati had on page 51 of the April 22, 2011, edition of The Guardian  newspaper, written an opinion article entitled “For the attention of  General Buhari”. In it, he claimed that Buhari made an inciting  statement which led to the post-election violence that rocked some parts  of the north.<br /><br />The former presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change  (CPC), however, regarded the publication as defamatory, intended to  lower his integrity and to bring him into public ridicule. Buhari  consequently dragged Abati and The Guardian to court via suit no.
