 Abeokuta-based star, Feyisayo Mojisola Oyetade popularly known as 
Faycol died on Tuesday Oct. 14th in Sagamu while preparing for her 8-day
 old baby boy's naming ceremony. Feyi collapsed suddenly and died the 
same day her child's naming ceremony was to hold.<br /><br />She was 
immediately rushed to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Lantoro, Abeokuta 
where she was pronounced "brought-in-dead". Feyi was then taken to a 
church for prayers and was reported to have opened her eyes but was in a
 coma for a while before she finally gave up the ghost. Feyi, who was 
the only child of her parents, has since been buried at the Sagamu Local
 government Cemetery. <br /><br /><br />May her soul rest in peace. Amen!</span></span></div>

Six-year-old Jeremiah Abasi was living with his parents in Ihiala area 
of Anambra State when his aunt, Onyebuchi Chibogu, decided to bring him 
to Lagos State to continue his education.However, in less than four 
months on Adidas Street, Olodi-Apapa area of the state, Jeremiah went 
missing after reportedly running an errand for his aunt’s neighbour.</div>

victim was with a neighbour, identified only as Ijeoma, and her 
boyfriend, Ogbonna.Miracle, 15, explained that he had also been sent to 
buy a stick of cigarette for Ogbonna, but when he returned, he could not
 find Ogbonna and his brother.He said, </div>

<b>“On August 22, around 6pm, I came back from the field where I went to 
play football.I met my brother at home and I called him to the backyard 
for us to go and take a bath, but he refused, saying he wanted our aunt

“When I finished, I saw Mr. Ogbonna taking a picture of my brother with 
his phone. I asked him to also take my picture, but he showed me a photo

or the man.”</b></blockquote>

Miracle said he noticed that the door was shut and he threw the 
cigarette away.Around 11pm, the news had spread that Jeremiah could not 
be found.A crowd of people were said to have begun blaming the 
15-year-old for leaving his younger brother at home.</div>

<b>“I tried to explain to the crowd that my brother was with Ogbonna and 
his girlfriend, but Ogbonna, who suddenly returned with his girlfriend, 
shouted me down and threatened to beat me” Miracle added</b>.</blockquote>

Chibogu, told our correspondent the matter was reported at the Tolu Police Station and the two suspects were arrested.</div>

An explosion rocked a residential estate in Benin, the Edo State capital <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_607001300" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ">Saturday</span></span>, the state police command said <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_607001301" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ">Sunday</span></span>.</blockquote>

The Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Ejiroro Ahwara, confirmed 
the attack on Denis Osadebey Avenue, in a statement made available to 
newsmen in Benin <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_607001302" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ">on Sunday</span></span>.<br />

He said the “Command received information that at about 10: 30 p.m. 
<span class="aBn" data-term="goog_607001303" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ">on Saturday</span></span> that there was an explosion at Dennis Osadebey Avenue, Benin
 City.’’<br />

Mr. Ahwara said that men of the Special Anti-Bomb Squad and patrol vehicles were immediately drafted to the scene of incident.<br />
<br />

He explained that preliminary investigation revealed that items 
suspected to be Improvised Explosive Device, IED, made up of two tiger 
batteries of 15 volt each connected to long wire, was thrown into the 
mini-estate from outside.<br />
<br />

Mr. Ahwara said the explosion affected the ceiling boards at the security post in the estate as well as a part of the main gate.<br />

He explained that the impact dug a small hole at the entrance gate, but stated that “luckily, no life was lost”.<br />
<br />

“The IED used in the attack has been recovered by the Bomb Disposal 
Unit for analysis, while some suspects have been arrested”, he further 
stated.<br />
