stamping and beating him with such ferocity the child's small <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">intestine</span> <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD5">split</span>
in two, a <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2841261/Parents-toddler-died-catastrophic-injuries-stamped-beaten-him.html" target="_blank">court </a>heard.</div>

Toddler Levi Blu Cassin suffered 'catastrophic' internal
injuries similar to someone who had been hit by a car or fallen from a
three-storey building.</div>

He died after being discovered by paramedics at his mum's
address in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, on the morning of February 20 <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD3">last
year</span>.</div>

His <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD6">parents</span> Danielle Cassin, 27, and Mark Piper, 31, are on

The court heard Cassin phoned for an ambulance after her son
stopped breathing at around 4.30am on the morning of his death.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Paramedics arrived at the couple's flat to find Levi lying
on the floor between the cot and his mother's bed.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Prosecutor <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD8">Timothy</span> Raggatt QC said the child's eyes were
<span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD9">open</span> but his lips had turned blue and he had no pulse.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
He was rushed to hospital on blue lights but was pronounced
dead at around 5.30am.</div>

A post-mortem examination revealed Levi died from 'major
internal injuries' - with his small intestine split in two - as a result of
'significant' blows to the body.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Mr Raggatt told the court the toddler could <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD11">have been</span>
punched in an upright position several times.</div>

But he said the more likely scenario was that Levi was lying
on the floor and had been stamped on <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD10">either</span> once or repeatedly.</div>

Mr Raggatt said the only <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD7">two people</span> who could have inflicted
the fatal injuries were the boy's parents.</div>

But the boy’s parents have kept mum on why they did it, or who
among them killed their son which is making the case difficult.</div>

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday urged
his Ekiti State counterpart, Governor Ayodele Fayose, not to drag his
(Oshiomhole) name into the “political gangsterism that has become peculiar with
the Ekiti State Governor.”</div>

Oshiomhole spoke in reaction to a statement credited to the
Ekiti Governor that he (Oshiomhole) shut down the Edo State House of Assembly
and relocated sitting to the Government House.</div>

The Edo Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press
Secretary, Mr. Peter Okhiria, said that there was no crisis in state assembly,

He explained that of the nine PDP members, three were on
suspension while the seat of another member had been declared vacant, which he
said reduced the number of PDP lawmakers in the house.</div>

elements of governance, Oshiomhole urged his Ekiti counterpart to “stop
dropping the name of Governor Adams Oshiomhole to shore up his jaded image.”</div>

Oshiomhole said, “We find it utterly laughable and as the
height of political childishness for the Ekiti State Governor to hide behind
his media aides and seek to drag the name of the Governor of Edo State, Comrade

into Ekiti politics, less than two months after assuming office.</div>

fellows who are aspiring under the PDP didn’t believe it was possible.</div>

But now that they know that it is possible to get these pretenders
out and the fact that Lagosians are tired of them, they are now coming out to
say they want to be governor. Where were they all this while? But to me, that
shouldn’t be a problem. Even the Bible says when the good seeds are planted,
and the weeds get planted among the good seeds, we should allow both the weeds
and the good seeds to grow together.</div>

With time, harvest time will come, we will harvest the good
seeds and the bad seeds will be discarded. So, that is my belief. Let everyone

Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, has been described as a
 strong factor in determining who occupies the Aso Presidential Villa 
after the 2015 elections. Amaechi, according to former National 
Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), 
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has over the years acquired the requisite 
political stature to influence the outcome of the current jostling for 
who succeeds the outgoing President, Goodluck Jonathan. <br />

“Although Amaechi is eminently qualified to be President and would make a
 good one if given the opportunity, his preoccupation at this moment is 
to flush out the evil regime of PDP come 2015 but if the All 
Progressives Congress (APC), of which he is one of the pillars, decides 
to support him for any elective post, so be it,” Eze said in a statement
 in Port Harcourt.<br />

Chief Eze, a political ally of Rt. Hon. Amaechi, described the Governor 
as a political genius with a Midas touch. “His mobilisational and 
organisational expertise account for why he has been able to serve as a

Rivers State Governor and APC’s deep penetration of Rivers State and 
other parts of the South-South in so short a time. Amaechi’s key roles 
in stabilising and repositioning APC and his contributions towards the 
growth of the party speak eloquently of his relevance,” Eze said.  </blockquote>

The Ex-New PDP Spokesman opined that a ticket of retired Gen. Muhammadu 
Buhari and Governor Amaechi is the best APC could possibly present for 
the 2015 presidential election but quickly added that it is left for the
 party’s delegates and leaders to do the right thing with regard to who 
flies the party’s flag in the election.<br />

“I have read a lot about a probable Muslim-Muslim ticket in the party 
but that is not advisable in the present circumstances in the interest 
of a united Nation and mission to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of 
the impunity experts in PDP ruining our nation. The winning ticket is 
one that features a strong candidate of Muslim extraction and a strong 
candidate of Christian background. A Buhari-Amaechi ticket would just be
 perfect. I don’t see how Goodluck Jonathan and whoever is paired with 
him can survive in a free and fair contest against Buhari and Amaechi,” 
Eze said. <br />

He pointed out that APC stands on a two-legged stool – Legacy Group and 
New PDP Group. According to him, “We of the New PDP Group have conceded 
the National Chairman’s seat to the Legacy Group (Chief John 
Odigie-Oyegun) and if Buhari, who is also a member of the Legacy Group, 
gets the ticket, then it becomes imperative that we in the New PDP must 
be given the Vice President’s slot. However, if Atiku Abubakar or 
Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso who are also members of the New PDP gets the 
ticket, we of the New PDP family should graciously concede the VP ticket
 to the Legacy Group in the spirit of equity, justice and fairness which
 are the principles in which APC was established.”<br />

The above calculations notwithstanding, Eze further counselled that it 
is imperative that the APC Leadership must unite to rescue our nation 
from the hands of the evil cabals that have hijacked governance in the 
country? “The fate of our country can only be ratified and put back on 
track if APC Leadership and members unite to get PDP sacked by 2015. If 
not, the woes ahead on all of us may not be described. We have done too 
much talking! The fact remains that should APC lose out in the 2015 
general election, but God forbid, the true colour of President Goodluck 
Jonathan will be revealed to Nigerians. And the heat may be unbearable. 
The ball is now in the court of APC leaders to do that which is 
necessary to rescue our dear nation from the imminent doom that awaits 
her, should we fail in this mission”.<br />

Eze congratulated Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal the Speaker of the House of 
Representatives for his statesmanship conduct by withdrawing from the 
Presidential race of the party to ensure that we as a party unites to 
rescue Nigeria from the hands of misguided PDP Leaders holding our

We are moving into a heated phase in the slow but surely movement to 
2015. So far, more than 120 of the lawmakers have  appended their 
signatures for the impeachment of President Goodluck Jonathan as soon as
 the House reconvenes in December.<br /><br />Mohammed Zakari, chairman, 
House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, while reacting on it said 
“the notice of impeachment was not on the order paper today but I’m not 
foreclosing that some other things took place.”<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
Similar agitation by aggrieved lawmakers to move for impeachment of 
Emeka Ihedioha, deputy Speaker during the brief closed door session, was
 however averted by the Speaker who called for calmness.</blockquote>
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />On his part, Leo Ogor, deputy House Leader who 
urged members to jettison such plans, argued that the notice of 
impeachment is inconsequential, as the President had no hand in what 
transpired at the National Assembly.<br /><br />“The President is unaware so
 bringing it (impeachment) up is going to be defeated. The President has
 done no wrong, impeachment should not even be part of the issue,” he 
pleaded.<br /><br />Majority of the lawmakers  who appended their signatures belong to APC with few PDP members.</div>

over #1million copies in the first five days of its release, this is 
according to the marketer of the album, Obaino Music...and they showed 
receipts! But it looks like singer Brymo doesn't believe it. He just

The politicians in the leading opposition party, All Progressives 
Congress (APC) has reiterated their commitment to wrestle power from the
 Peoples Demoocratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general election through 
people-oriented policies, which they believe will be capable of bringing
 much-desired change to millions of Nigerians.<br />
<br />
This was made known on Wednesday by the chairman of the party, John 
Odigie Oyegun, at a rally tagged “Salvation Rally,” organized by the 
party and held at Eagle Square in Abuja with hundreds of the party's 
supporters in attendance.<br />

In his articulated speech, the chairman said:<br />

Committee on Tuesday with former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi as

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday told a gathering of the Peoples 
Democratic Party leaders in the Presidential Villa, Abuja that he hardly
 get those things he look forward to in his life.<br />

Jonathan, who boasted that no party would defeat the PDP during the 2015
 polls said sometimes, things that he did not think about are the ones 
he gets.<br />

 a do-or-die affair because   the world does not begin or end with the 
offices they are aspiring for.<br />

The President said even if somebody blocked them from getting to the 
office, God might be preparing them for something better. He said he is 
taking note of happenings in some states ahead of the elections and 
would compensate some aspirants.<br />

He said, “Let me use this unique opportunity to plead with all of us who
 are aspiring for electoral offices that the world does not begin and 
end with the office you are looking for.<br />
<br />
“Sometimes, you would be looking for an office, you may not be able to 
get it for one reason or the other. Let us say somebody blocked you, so 
be it, let somebody block you.<br />
<br />
“But if God wants something better for you, even after that blocking, you will get something else.<br />
<br />
“I plead with all of us that we should not play the do-or-die, except I 
get it, let the party sink. We are taking inventory of all what is 
happening in all the states and I promise that we will try and use as 
many people as possible.<br />
<br />
“There are challenges in some states. People may deliberately block you.
 You may even be the best candidate in that particular constituency, but
 let us move ahead.”</div>

single politician sponsor of Boko Haram has been incarcerated or killed.

Our National Security Adviser, late Andrew Owoye Azazi was fired by our 
president and subsequently got killed after being under threat from the 
ruling party for declaring that its members were the sponsors of Boko 
Haram. Our heroes are killed to protect the terror!<br />

Our President on August 2nd of 2012 earned himself the wrath of the 
Christian Association of Nigeria and all well meaning Nigerians for 
defending Boko Haram terrorists with the statement: “They (Boko Haram) 
are our siblings and you cannot send the army to wipe out your family…. 
We are handling them with a soft approach.”</blockquote>
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />
Despite opposition from all well meaning Nigerians, our President 
continued to insist on offering an amnesty to Boko Haram terrorists with
 the blood of thousands of innocents on their hands, whereas today good 
citizens and vigilantes are arrested, punished and killed for fighting 
for peace and security.<br />
<br />
Our president according to Hon. Robert P. Jackson of US Department of 
State, fought the United States not to list Boko Haram as a FTO (Foreign
 Terrorist Organisation), despite calls for this by Nigerian individuals
 and groups. Whereas the same president was one of the first Africa’s 
leaders to deliver terror to the people of Libya by signing off Gaddafi 
and supporting the NATO + LIGF/al Qaeda Benghazi brewed aggression.<br />
<br />
Our deputy minister of defense was chosen to win Lagos for his party and
 not win the war on terror and our minister of defense is selected 
despite being a known messenger of suffering and death from the past 
dictatorial regimes, not for his ability to defend the nation from 
terror he supervised the formation of in office as NSA, but for his 
ebbing political clout to hopefully deliver a handful of votes.<br />
<br />
Our president, rather than detain and investigate the named sponsors of 
Boko Haram; ex-governor Ali Modu Sheriff and Ex-Army General Azubuike 
Ihejirika, embraces them further and provides the ex-governor army 
battalions, armored trucks, bomb trucks, SSS and police escorts in the 
hundreds to protect his way in political shows in war-torn Borno state, 
in the highest display of insensitivity, callousness and praise for 
terror the world has ever witnessed.<br />
<br />
Our president signs off fictitious and unilateral ceasefires with Boko 
Haram that allow the group freedom to abduct, kill and capture territory
 across Nigeria with the Nigerian military ordered to stand down. Whose 
interest does he serve?<br />
<br />
Our President orders the arrest and undermining of civilian patriot 
volunteers who liberated our Boko Haram occupied cities and persecutes 
them; whereas Boko Haram is offered impunity, cessations of government 
fire and humongous bribe with helicopters found ferrying arms and  
stashes of up to $6 million dollars to supply Boko Haram.<br />
<br />
Nigerians have been called on to rise up and defend themselves from this
 government supported and sponsored terror. We call on all neighboring 
African nations, countries of the world and all international 
organizations and players to recognize the situation Nigerians find 
themselves in and take appropriate actions against the leadership of the
 nation.<br />

Nigerian troops recently combated Boko Haram terrorists. The operation
