Anita Trivedi took her life by jumping in the way of a moving train 
after she failed a set of exams and and had to resit her fourth year at 
medical school.<br />                     Anita Trivedi, a 
23-year-old Kings Collegemedical student, has committed suicide by 
jumping under a moving train after failing her exams.<br />
                     Daily Mail 
reports that Trivedi, from Newham, East London, was depressed after 
having to resit her fourth year at medical school.<br />
                   Before the suicide, Anita suffered from mood swings, 
eating problems, hair loss and even attacked a classmate in the toilet.<br />
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />The victim told a Southwark Coroner’s Court that Anita attacked her for no reason.<br /><br /><br />

"She turned her head towards me and just lunged at me and started attacking me. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"She put her right fist out and started to attempt to punch me and I kept putting my hands out to stop. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"Then she hit me really hard on the left side of my head. I bent over 
the sink because I would have fallen over if I hadn’t put my hands out. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"I screamed ‘help’ and she ran out."</blockquote>
<br />Anita took her own life by, jumping into the way of a freight train 
that was travelling through a station near the medical school's campus.<br /><br />In
 a statement read at the inquest, the driver of the train said he saw 
someone on the tracks and tried to stop it, adding that the person did 
not leave the tracks even after he sounded the horn.<br /><br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
"The train was coming to a stop and I was able to see the person lying on the track. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"The person made no attempt to get up off the track. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"When the train came to a halt 250 foot after the impact with the person
 and could not have stopped in time. It seemed to me this was a 
deliberate act."</blockquote>
<br />A number of eyewitnesses also confirmed that they saw the deceased jump under the train.<br /><br />Anita’s father, Kailash Trivedi said his daughter did not look depressed after failing her exams.<br /><br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
"She was beautiful, very pretty, she cared for everybody, she always 
remembered birthdays and Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. She was 
everything," he said.</blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"She was so good, so nice, so polite, so courteous. I miss her so much."</blockquote>
<br />Her friend, Darena Dineva, however said she struggled after the failure.<br /><br />The Kings College has issued an official condolence message to the family.</div>

Amaechi To Lead APC Presidential Campaign Team

                Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has been appointed as Director
 General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign 
Organization.<br />

Amaechi’s appointment, according to a statement issued by the APC 
National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, will drive the party’s 
efforts to win the 2015 presidential election.<br />

The statement said the announcement followed the hugely successful 
convention which produced the party’s presidential candidate, Gen. 
Muhammadu Buhari, and the subsequent selection of his running mate, 
Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.<br />

man of courage, principle, strength of character, decency and love of 
country, as well as his administrative prowess and organizational skills

The party thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers toward the 
success of the convention, the emergence of Gen. Buhari as the APC

 Haram has kidnapped at least 185 people, including women and children, 
from a Nigerian village, carting the hostages away on trucks towards 
Sambisa Forest, a notorious rebel stronghold, two local officials and a 
vigilante leader said Thursday.<br /><br />The mass abduction, part of an 
attack that also killed 32 people, occurred Sunday in the village of 
Gumsuri, Borno state, in the embattled northeast.<br /><br />Both officials,
 who requested anonymity, said the local government established the 
number of those abducted through contacting families, ward heads and 
emirs.<br /><br />A vigilante leader based in the Borno state capital 
Maiduguri, Usman Kakani, told AFP that fighters who were in Gumsuri 
during the attack provided a figure of 191 abducted, including women, 
girls and boys.<br /><br />Gumsuri is roughly 70 kilometres (43 miles) south
 of Maiduguri and falls on the road that leads to Chibok, where Boko 
Haram kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls in April.<br /><br />Details of 
the Gumsuri attack took four days to emerge because the mobile phone 
network in the region has completely collapsed and many roads are 
impassable.<br /><br />Those who fled the village said it was too dangerous 
to head directly to Maiduguri. Instead, they travelled several hundred 
kilometres in the opposite direction to connect with the main road that 
leads to the state capital.<br /><br />Mukhtar Buba, a Gumsuri resident who 
fled to Maiduguri, also confirmed that women and children were taken. 
"After killing our youths, the insurgents have taken away our wives and
