Lions attack a full grown Buffalo only as a herd but in this case,
the Lion has been cast away from his herd was really starving. Desperate
situation calls for desperate actions.
The two beasts fought for more than one hour then they stopped and
kept staring at each other for close to 5 minutes, all bloodied up and
exhausted before going back to the fight.
Two days later the lion succumbed to his
injuries, while the buffalo’s carcass was found two weeks later having
failed to fight off infection.
