The mother of the former Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State
House of Assembly and current member of the House, Hon Remmy
Hassan has been released by her kidnappers. The woman, who was kidnapped
on October 1st at her Omu-Ijebu residence was released in the early
hours of this morning. The kidnappers initially demanded N50million but
it is not clear if the family paid the ransom.
