This is former Cameroonian model Irene Major, now the wife of Canadian oil tycoon, Sam Malin and she's a proud skin bleacher. She shared her before and after photos with UK Daily Mail and told the paper the reasoning behind her bleaching;
"When my skin is lighter, I just feel prettier. It’s a taboo subject, and people get judgmental about it, but that’s how I feel.’

I am not here to judge her, as they say to each it's own. But I will say this, and this is how I feel about myself. I am a black woman who skin tone is a medium brown/cooper tone, not to sound conceited. Bright colors look good against my complexion, I don't think that light skin females are prettier than me. I feel that I am very attractive, I was told by my mother, since was a little girl . There are very pretty dark skin, medium brown to light skin black models that are very attractive. I only had to address that light skin females are prettier than brown or dark brown skin females. This way of thinking was from way back in the day of slavery, this is how they used to separate the slaves.
