Lekan Abass, who was into Real Estate and one of APC party leaders in
Oyo State, ranked as one of Ibadan most colourful big boys with style.
He is said to have died from shock at about 8pm yesterday. There are still unconfirmed sources that he died in auto crash this morning.
His death has come as a shock to his friends and associates, especially the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. He was one of the most visible faces in Ajimobi’s administration, and was one of the very core loyalists of the governor.
He is survived by wife Folake, a Senior Bank Manager, who he married 2 years ago; and a son Juwon who finished from Babcock University as the best graduating student where he studied Electronics and Computer Engineering.
