Nollywood actor, Damola Olatunji’s 1-year old marriage is in
crisis. Damola has been accused by his wife of sleeping with Bukky Awoyemi a
Nollywood actress. Damola’s wife, Damilola, in a tell-it-all interview with BON
Online told how the actress torn apart her marriage and how her husband has
been living with her in her Magodo home, instead of their matrimonial home.

I am sad, frustrated and I don’t know where to start from,
what did I do to deserve this. I gave my all or is it a sin to love someone who
claims to love you. Damola and I didn’t have any issue neither did we have any
major quarrel just the normal ups and downs that married couples have but I
started feeling uneasy few weeks to our Wedding Anniversary when he rarely pick
my calls nor reply my sms promptly and will only call me back in the middle of
the night.<br />

Gist started filtering into my ears that Damola was seeing
Bukky but I ignored. But when my husband won’t change I asked him and he denied
that the only thing between them is work. Until Damola’s brother’s girlfriend
called me to tell me that Damola actually brought Bukky to Osogbo and they went
to Damola’s uncle home where she made dinner for him before they went into the
room to make love and it started to make sense to me because like thrice in the
middle of the night I had seen Bukky’s text messages to Damola saying I miss
you, I love you and can’t wait to see you. I allowed it to slide because guys
in the industry are in the habit of calling themselves darlings and all.</div>

But when I knew I was in serious trouble was when I came
home for our Anniversary and Damola didn’t pick me at the Airport. On getting
home, I noticed that Damola had packed all our wedding pictures and all my properties
into the guest room. While waiting for him I took a look at his ipad and behold
I read his messages with Bukky talking about the romantic getaways, the fact
that he does not want me again and he professing love to Bukky.</div>

I was at home for 30days and Damola only slept at home once.
Later I heard he was with Bukky in Magodo, then I went to see his parents but
got the shock of my life, as they told me pointblank that they would only want

picks my call nor reply my sms.</div>

Senator Bala Mohammed, to redeem the pledge of N1m and an artificial leg made

By all cogent and credible biblical account, our Lord and Saviour Jesus 
Christ, about 2000 years ago, healed all manner of infirmities or 
sicknesses that caught His attention; cast out demons from those 
possessed by evil spirits; liberated all those in satanic bondages, and 
gave solace to the heavy-laden. At His command, Lazarus who was dead for
 three days came out of the grave. That was the greatest miracle ever 
performed in this universe. Jesus Christ is clearly God Almighty. At His
 command the forces of nature had to rebuild or reconstruct the 
decomposing body of Lazarus including the moribund internal organs. He 
promised that His disciples and apostles would continue the good works 
or even perform greater miracles than He did.<br />

Under the Acts of the Apostles in the Holy Book, the Apostles of Jesus 
Christ sustained the trend. They healed the sick, cast out heady demons 
and fed the needy in the church. No sickness and no demon resisted their
 touch and supplication. In Chapter 3 of the Acts of the Apostles Peter 
and John healed the man who was lame from his mother’s womb. Peter’s 
words to the lame man were very instructive. He said: “I have neither 
silver nor gold but what I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus 
Christ get up and walk”.</div>

The sick man got up and walked to the consternation of the public. 
Numerous signs and wonders followed their evangelical work and 
ministration. Thousands and crowds of believers were added to the body 
of Christ.</div>

announced their entry into the Presidential Villa, Abuja to minister 
unto or pray for Nigeria’s ailing President Yar’Adua, some of us felt 
that it was a golden opportunity to show case and, or, announce the 
awesome power and prevailing majesty of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 
before whom all living souls must bow either in life or at death.<br />
We expected the replication of the Apostolic Faith and feat. We expected
 the ailing President Yar’dua to rise up from his sick-bed and announce 
his healing to the world. But the encounter turned out to be a colossal 
failure. It ended on a pious and idle note. The remainder is now history
 which does not deserve a footnote in Christian evangelical missions. I 
say so because, Disciples of Jesus Christ are invested with the awesome 
power and authority that comes from only Jesus.</div>

Out of intellectual curiosity we sought to know those Christian leaders 
who embarked on the evangelical mission to the Presidential Villa, 
Abuja. The roster clearly showed that the glue that held those church 
leaders together were: expensive gold chains, gold rings and bracelets; 
expensive porsh cars and private jets; very fat bank accounts, and real 
estates; expensive suits and apparels.<br />
It was clear that the Holy Ghost who is a crucial component of Jesus 
Christ and the awesome purveyor of power and authority of Jesus Christ 
was clearly not part of that journey. Expensive gold rings, real 
estates, private jets are too worldly for comfort of the Holy Spirit. 
They do not evince customary Christian abnegation and self-denial. And 
the Holy Spirit which is a helper and comforter cannot comfortably be in
 that company of church leaders that ingressed into the Presidential 
Villa.</div>

A very important question to pose is whether those announced Church 
Leaders who went to the Presidential Villa qualify as disciples or 
apostles of Jesus Christ. A negative answer must be quickly returned. We
 have hinted above at their lack of tendency for self-denial and their 
proclivity to worldly acquisition. Speaking to a crowd of his followers 
in Mark 8 Verse 34, our Lord Jesus Christ said:“if any one wants to be 
my follower he must deny himself; take up his cross and follow me”.</div>

The phrase “deny himself” used by Jesus Christ above connotes a deep 
sense of abnegation or self denial which is lacking amongst Christian 
leaders of the new-world. To many of them, their stomach and the 
proclivity to acquire private jests and real estates, are their gods. 
Again in John Chapter 17:16 our Lord Jesus Christ said concerning His 
disciples: “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world”.</div>

To qualify as a disciple of Jesus Christ one’s life must evince that detachment from worldly pleasures and acquisitions.</div>

It is important to point out that I am not a member of the Synagogue 
Church of All Nations (SCOAN). I have never set my eyes physically on 
Prophet T. B. Joshua. But I have watched his Emmanuel Television for 
close to two years now. I am satisfied beyond every shadow of doubt that
 through Prophet T. B. Joshua the ancient apostolic faith and feat have 
returned to the world. And as is common in history, a prophet is never 
honored or decorated in his own country.</div>

Prophet T. B. Joshua’s work of charity and care for the needy are 
unarguably unprecedented and freshivating. By my reckoning from watching
 the Emmanuel Television, he spends not less than twenty million naira 
every Sunday on the elderly and needy ones in the church and outside the
 church. He reminds me of Apostle Paul who when addressing members of a 
Gentile community told them that he never coveted their silver or gold 
or goods but had to work with his hands to feed himself and the needy 
ones in the church.</div>

That apostolic faith had returned to the world through Prophet T. B. 
Joshua, also finds expression in the fact that I have not seen any 
sickness resist his touch. The examples could be mentioned with scarcely
 a pause for breath.</div>

For the past two years that I have consistently watched the Emmanuel 
Television, I have not seen a single occasion where an infirmity defied 
his healing power. The examples are simply legion. But permit me to 
mention just a few and feel discharged.</div>

Obviously the apostolic faith and feat have returned at the T. B. 
Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). Members of the legal 
profession to which I belong are by training very conservative. We are 
always in search of credible and cogent evidence in order to be 
convinced over a given question.</div>

In the Acts of the Apostles, anytime the apostles preached, the members 
of secret societies, occultists and idol worshippers surrendered their 
curious books and objects for destruction. This happens regularly at the
 SCOAN.</div>

It was after a powerful sermon preached by Prophet T. B. Joshua that one
 of the greatest and well known occult grandmasters, invocators and 
herbalists from Ghana, Chief Theodore Adogan, surrendered all his 
curious objects and books of invocation for destruction at the Synagogue
 Church of All Nations, Lagos. But sadly today, some pastors of our 
churches seek help from these occult grandmasters and invocators or 
herbalists.</div>

Evidently, Prophet T. B. Joshua’s spiritual and evangelical achievements
 have been received with little enthusiasm by his fellow Christian 
leaders who are simply envious and angry at the height and level the 
Holy Spirit had propelled him. They have weaved so much storms around 
Prophet T. B. Joshua but he has come out of those storms far better and 
less bitter.</div>

In my reckoning he has towered far and above all known evangelists in 
Europe, Africa and America. Not even the legendary Prophet William 
Braham and Oral Roberts could stand with him on equal terms.</div>

But he (Prophet T. B. Joshua) should plead “mea-culpa” for not 
accompanying those Church leaders who went to the Presidential Villa to 
minister to the late President Yar’Adua. It is my thinking that if he 
had been part of that entourage the awesome, prevailing, everlasting and
 paramount name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would have been 
further elevated, invested, honoured and decorated to the entire world.</div>

Igbo girls. Many are so arrogant they find it difficult to even say good
 morning to a man. How sad!</div>

Anyway, another Yoruba guy has waded into the issue. Popular Gospel 
musician, Tosin Martins complained that the ladies we have today are not
 as submissive as our mothers and it's quite worrisome. He cited some 
examples that he thinks make these women proud and the reasons they have
 not been submissive to their husbands.<br />

Tosin Martins has been married for 8 years now and here's what he to a 
Schooltips Magazine reporter about the arrogance problem in many ladies

I think is majorly because they have become their own people. They are

 are earning money and you are, they have a world view like you have.

The leading governorship aspirant in Lagos State, under the platform of 
All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, has said the 
compelling need to take the developments recorded  by former governors 
of the state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the incumbent, Raji Fashola, SAN, 
to another level, informed his ambition to govern the state in 2015.<br />

He insists his ambition has no ethnic colouration, stressing that the 
various ethnic nationalities in the state will be carried along if he 
picks his party nomination and wins the 2015 governorship election in 
2015.<br />

Ambode spoke in Lagos on Monday at the commissioning of his campaign 
secretariat and inauguration of campaign committees in all the local 
governments across the state. According to him: "This campaign has no 
coloration, so we are carrying everyone along. <span style="color: #cc0000;">Whether you are Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba or Urhobo, you have a place in this project. We are one</span>. We want to create a new level of leadership that will challenge the <i>status quo</i> to ensure that our people are freed from poverty. </blockquote>

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State (APC) has expressed 
satisfaction with the way and manner the Governor Chibuike Rotimi 
Amaechi Administration has decisively tackled the Ebola outbreak in the 
State, urging people not to panic as the situation is under control. </div>

“Governor Amaechi did not only declare war on Ebola but has also stepped
 up and sustained the war against the disease. We wish to commend him 
and his administration on this while at the same time appealing to 
people of the State, including visitors, to fully cooperate with the 
State authorities on measures rolled out to check the spread of the 
disease,” Rivers APC said in a statement issued Monday in Port Harcourt 
by the State Chairman, Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya.<br />

The party condemned the surreptitious way the Ebola Virus Disease was 
imported into Rivers State late last month by a diplomat and the awkward
 way late Dr. Iyke Sam Enemuo decided to treat his Ebola patient in a 
hotel without reporting the case to the appropriate quarters for 
immediate action. </blockquote>

“Inasmuch as we do not wish to waste time on spilt milk, the seriousness
 with which Governor Amaechi intervened to arrest the situation gladdens
 our heart as a political party. As a visionary and focused Government, 
even before the Ebola outbreak in Rivers State, the Amaechi 
administration had released the sum of N300 million to the State 
Ministry of Health to use in tackling the virus in case it eventually 
arrived the State. Apart from this, the Rivers State Government through 
the Ministry of Health planned ahead by approving a temporary quarantine
 site in Oduoha, Emohua Local Government Area of the State,” Rivers APC 
said.<br />

The party also commended State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sampson 
Parker, and his Technical Team for proving that the APC Government in 
Rivers State is very concerned about the health and security of Rivers 
people.<br />

It equally expressed appreciation for the assistance rendered by the 
World Health Organization (WHO), Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) – also 
known as Doctors Without Borders – the American Embassy and the Federal 
Government to ensure that drastic measures are put in place to tackle 
and eliminate Ebola from Rivers State and the entire country.<br />

The State APC noted with satisfaction that the Rivers State Government 
in its determination to eliminate this unfortunate scourge has partnered
 with the World Health Organization. “In this regard, the Rivers State 
Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and the Country 
Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), Mr. Rui Vaz, have
 pledged to work together and join hands in battling the Ebola outbreak 
in Rivers State. Governor Amaechi and Mr. Vaz made the joint resolve 
after a meeting in Government House, Port Harcourt. Governor Amaechi 
assured the WHO Country Representative that his government would do 
everything possible to contain the disease in the state in collaboration
 with the World Health body,” Rivers APC said.<br />

The party added that “apart from these steps, the Governor on 28th 
August, 2014, made a public broadcast to the people of Rivers State on 
ways and means of checking Ebola and has had several meetings and 
interactions with various segments of the society towards fashioning out
 the best strategies to exterminate the disease from the State. Some of 
these strategies include the mobilization of all organs of governance in
 the State, the religious, traditional, inter-government organs, etc. </div>

While addressing these groups recently in the Government House, the 
Governor called on religious and traditional leaders that include the 
Muslim Community in Rivers State to collaborate and work with the State 
Government to contain the Ebola virus in the State. Amaechi also warned 
against stigmatization of people suspected to be infected with the Ebola
 virus. He said the Rivers State Government was doing its best to 
contain and eliminate the disease in the state. He urged religious 
leaders to preach about the disease in their churches and mosques as 
well as traditional rulers in their various communities. He urged them 
to encourage those under them to imbibe healthy living and wash their 
hands regularly; pointing out that Ebola can be prevented and is not a 
death sentence if properly managed.”<br />
