 aspirant, General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) came down heavily on the 
ruling Party (PDP), saying Nigeria would be washed away as a country 
if the ruling party is given four more years in office in the 2015 
general election.<br /><br />In the same vein, the Chairman of the Arewa 
Consultative Forum (ACF), Ibrahim Coomassie, in a goodwill message 
delivered on his behalf by Barrister Solomon Dalung, urged northerners
 not to allow themselves to be divided by the artificial differences 
created by politicians.<br /><br />ACF urged politicians from the northern 
extraction to put the interest of the north first and above their 
personal interest, saying ACF’s desire is for a united north that could
 give credible leadership in the country.<br /><br />Speaking yesterday, in
 Kaduna, on behalf of other presidential aspirants of APC, at the 
party’s Northern stakeholders’ interactive meeting, General Buhari 
noted that Nigerians had become tired of incompetent leadership and 
urged the electorate to ensure that free, fair and credible elections 
that will usher in credible leaders at all levels of governance in the 
country are held.<br /><br />APC presidential aspirants present at the 
meeting included former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Kano State 
Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Sam Nda Isaiah. Other members were 
Zamfara State Governor, Abdulazeez Yari, APC Deputy National Chairman 
(North), Senator Lawal Shuaibu, among others.<br /><br />The former Head of 
State described 2015 as another year of extreme concern to Nigerians, 
urging participants at the meeting not to allow their members to be 
disenfranchised before or during the elections.<br /><br />Apparently, 
making caricature of huge presence of security operatives in Ekiti 
State during the gubernatorial election in the state, Buhari noted 
that the number of soldiers, police and SSS deployed to the state during
 the election, were enough to rescue the abducted Chibok girls if the 
same number was deployed to the troubled north east. He recalled with 
pains that he contested presidential election three times in the 
country and ended up in the Supreme Court to challenge his failure, 
saying that judges that ruled on the cases were his own brothers from 
the North, while those behind him were Southern Christians.<br /><br />Buhari
 said: “If PDP is given another four years to rule this country, Nigeria
 will go down the drain in 2015. This is because Nigerians are tired of
 incompetent leadership, so we must be ready to make sacrifices that 
will salvage the country, let us not allow our people to be 
disenfranchised during the elections, we must be united to ensure free, 
fair and credible elections in 2015.<br /><br />“I contested the 
Presidential election three times in this country and failed and ended 
up in the Supreme Courts and lost the case. The first time the judges 
agreed that there were no elections and they were all Christians, but 
the second time, the judges that declared that the PDP had won despite 
the irregularities, were Fulanis from Adamawa and Taraba, and a Nupe 
man, that was when I understood that it was not about religion and 
ethnicity, but Naira and Dollar. So, there is the need for the party to
 be united and make a difference in the general elections in 2015.”<br /><br />Meanwhile,
 in his opening speech, the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), 
Senator Lawal Shuaibu said one of the reasons for the stakeholders 
meeting was to sensitize the leaders of the party about their roles as 
guardians and conscience of the party.<br /><br />Shuaibu said, “We expect 
that at the end of this meeting, we will be able to develop and adopt 
strategies for enhancing party unity and discipline. We equally hope 
that aside from what the constitution specifies, we will be able to 
come up with home-spurned internal conflict resolution mechanisms that 
will solidify the party and build it into a strong institution.”</span></span>

 that time I just needed to travel out, have some rest and reflect on my
 life. I wanted to be sure of what I really wanted to be in life, 
whether to be a businesswoman, an actor or face my journalism career or
 whatever; I just needed a break.<br /><br />And somehow, you returned with a lovely baby boy?<br /><br />Yeah, that’s exactly what happened.<br /><br />Did you meet his father on the course of the trip?<br /><br />No,
 we flew together. He was not married and I had never been married too; 
he was my boyfriend at the time. We travelled out, things happened and I
 got pregnant. We were never married and I’m still single as we speak.<br /><br />But you are probably not searching, are you?<br /><br />I would say no because I’m engaged now.<br /><br />Obviously, you are engaged to a Nigerian.<br /><br />That’s very correct.<br /><br />Do you share the popular notion among women that virtually all men are unreliable?<br /><br />The
 truth is that not all people cheat and I am talking about both men and 
women; it is individualistic. There are always reasons why people cheat.
 For instance, someone may tell you that he or she has issues in their 
relationship but because they are not ready to quit, they do something 
to keep themselves happy. In the same vain, people always have a reason 
for staying in a relationship. However, every man has a weakness and it 
is the same with women. Whatever we have in men, there is its equivalent
 in women. But in life, once you make a choice, you should be ready to 
face the consequences; good or bad. Every man is a man and every woman 
is a woman. It all depends on how you play your cards. As an actress, I 
travel a lot. So, even if I date a Ghanaian or a Nigerian, I’m always 
somewhere outside home and away from my man. Would I ask my man to 
follow me everywhere? That is where trust comes into play.<br /><br />So, what attracted you to this Nigerian?<br /><br />Basically
 my man is unique. Though every man is unique but some are more unique 
than others; he is a special man. But as for why I chose a Nigerian man
 instead of a Ghanaian, you never can predict who you will fall in love 
with. I had a Ghanaian boyfriend, we broke up and now I’m getting 
married to a Nigerian. Whether he is a Ghanaian, Congolese, Sudanese or 
Nigerian doesn’t really matter. What matters is that I love him and I am
 comfortable with him. My man is romantic and hot; what more could a 
woman want in a man?<br /><br />Would it be safe to describe your current visit as business turned into pleasure since your man is a Nigerian?<br /><br />That
 is what it is. I flew here to work. But my man’s presence has made 
things a lot less stressful. I have done a couple of jobs and more are 
on the way.<br /><br />In less than 2 years you have won about five awards. What is the secret?<br /><br />There
 is no special secret. It is just the grace of God and hard work; it has
 been amazing and I am grateful to God. The awards have spurred me to 
always strive for the next level in my career and to always be hard 
working. Knowing that some people out there are watching and ready to 
appreciate hard work makes you want to strive for the best so the awards
 have motivated and challenged me. Now I realise that I need to be on my
 toes to justify the awards and also strive to move to the next level.<br /><br />Who are your favourite Nigerian actresses and actors?<br /><br />I
 wouldn’t want to pinpoint a particular actor or actress. Rather I 
would only say that I have always looked up to Genevieve and Mercy 
Johnson. I admire everything about Genevieve because she has made huge 
impact. But Mercy Johnson is the only actress I can watch and cry. And 
as for the men, it should be Mike Ezuruonye; he is my number one actor 
in Nollywood. He has tons of swag and attitude. He is a total package by
 my assessment.<br /><br /><br />As a pretty woman, you must be finding it a bit challenging to cope with male admirers…<br /><br />The
 truth about life is that once you are a woman, pretty or not, you are 
bound to have admirers. It is more when you are pretty and that depends 
on how you comport yourself. However, public figures attract more 
attention and it is normal.<br /><br />So, how do you deal with it?<br /><br />I
 just live my normal everyday life. There is nothing I have seen today 
that I have never seen before; there is nothing new. However, there is 
no special strategy. The more popular you get, the more advances you 
get. I used to get over a 100 missed calls and numerous text messages 
from a particular man nce upon a time. To this day I have never met him.
 He would send messages about how he loves and dreams about me and how 
he was making love to me in his dreams and all that. At a time I got fed
 up and had to change my phone number.<br /><br />Don’t you think that it is easier for women to cheat?<br /><br />No,
 rather, it is easier for men to cheat and clean their mouths. Women 
usually go with emotions but a man can get hold of a woman and just 
because he is high, he could make love to her. A woman can only cheat 
when she is not getting attention. It is only when she doesn’t get her 
romantic dues at home that she can be tempted to seek it from outside. 
But men can do it for fun. A man can love his wife very well but still 
keep a mistress outside; that’s their nature. In extreme cases, a woman
 can have a fling but keeping a permanent boyfriend is out of it. But 
men can love you from heaven to earth and still have a permanent 
mistress.</span></span><br />

 Tijan was finally caught in a honey trap at Vienna Airport after two of
 his wives realised they were married to the same man and complained to 
police.<br /><br />The seducer had picked up women all across the country, 
using them for room and board whenever he was nearby and borrowing money
 from them which he never returned.<br /><br />His downfall came after he 
met Sonja Maier, who believed she had found love at first sight when she
 was swept off her feet by Tijan after meeting him in a bar.<br /><br />The 
28-year-old from Gambia told her he felt the same, and after a whirlwind
 romance - and against the advice of her family - they were married a 
month later.<br /><br />After a year of happy marriage she was pregnant and 
browsing Facebook when she happened across somebody with the same 
surname and a strikingly similar-looking husband.<br /><br />Curious, the 
delved into the woman's profile. Then she realised this woman's husband 
was not only similar looking, but actually identical. The fact he had 
the same surname as her own spouse convinced her something was wrong.<br /><br />'I thought that either he had a twin I never knew about or he was cheating on me,' she said.<br /><br />Ms
 Maier got in touch with the woman to compare notes. Soon they realised 
that when he was with one of them, he was never with the other, and 
together they made a complaint to police after he vanished when they 
confronted him.<br /><br />That complaint led to the unravelling of a web of
 intrigue that has so far revealed 16 different women all of whom 
believed they were in an exclusive relationship with Tijan, including 
three who were married to him.<br /><br />The youngest of his women was 22, 
and the oldest 44; there is also another woman he is married to in his 
home country, where he also has children.<br /><br />Tijan used the women to
 provide him with a place to stay and food whenever he was in the area, 
and also borrowed tens of thousands of euros promising to pay it back 
later. He never did.<br /><br />Some also complained he had taken their 
jewellery to use as a security on loans he needed. And if a woman became
 too demanding on his time or for her money back, she suddenly found 
that he had vanished.<br /><br />Police have now found that he kept a 
network of women across Austria from the western state of Vorarleberg to
 the capital Vienna. As well as the 15 active lovers, they believe there
 were many others who he used, then dumped.<br /><br />Police have also 
found four children Tijan has fathered with different women in Austra. 
Two of his current girlfriends were pregnant.<br /><br />Detective Patrick 
Maierhofer, who has made an appeal for other women to come forward, 
said: 'He always used the same tactics. He would look at women in bars 
and was always charming and attentive.<br /><br />'He would also fascinate 
them with fanciful stories about his homeland in Africa and how he had 
fled horrific wars leaving his family behind - and later he would ask 
for financial assistance for them.'<br /><br />Tijan has also been accused 
of benefits fraud, using his women, children and fake names and photos 
of friends who were also black to claim thousands from the Austrian 
social services.<br /><br />He once posted online that the Austrians could not tell the difference between black men anyway.<br /><br />Vienna
 police spokesman Thomas Keiblinger said: 'He went under various names 
and we have released his picture at some of his names in the hope that 
we can contact other victims.<br /><br />'They included the names Sonko Tijan, Bojang Tijan and Crang Junior.<br /><br />'He
 claimed the money was for business ventures to help his family in 
Gambia. We have found that he is actually also married to a woman in 
Gambia where he also has a family.'<br /><br />Police put out an arrest 
warrant for him and eventually tracked him down using Facebook after 
discovering he was on the hunt for fresh victims. <br /><br />Officers 
arranged for a honey trap with the cooperation of a young woman he had 
been communicating with online to persuade her to lend him more money.</span></span><br />
