The National Agency for the Prohibition 
of Traffic In Persons (NAPTIP) has arraigned a hotelier, Chief Ibidun 
Joshua, at the Federal High Court in Lagos for allegedly forcing a 
14-year-old girl and others into pr*stitution.

He and four others – Osasuwa Ruth, Mabel
 Tasowia, Segun Ajose and Taiye Adesanya – were alleged to have 
committed the crime at his Daka Hotel at Seme border, Badagry.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
NAPTIP said they lured two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, from Benin City, Edo State, into pr*stitution.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The alleged offence, NAPTIP said, is 
contrary to Section 15(a) of the Trafficking In Person (Prohibition) Law
 Enforcement and Admnistration Act, 2003.</div>

 The agency said Ruth lured the 
14-year-old on January 10, 2010 to Badagry for the purpose of forcing 
her into pr*stitution, while Tasowia was alleged to have deceived the 
17-year-old on February 7, 2010.</div>

Joshua was accused of running a hotel 
where teenagers were forced into pr*stitution and for benefiting from 
the proceeds of such illicit business, Ajose, the hotels manager, was 
charged with encouraging underaged persons into pr*stitution.</div>

Adesanya was accused of organising the illicit business and remitting the proceeds to the hotel owner through its manager.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yesterday, a NAPTIP investigator, Mrs. 
Agboko Comfort, said Ajose and Adesanya were arrested on March, 5, 2010,
 adding that Joshua was arrested when he appeared at the agency’s office
 upon being summoned.</div>

The case has been adjourned till October 13 for trial.</div>

A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God  who was kidnapped 10 
months ago escaped from Boko Haram militants in Borno on Tuesday.<br />

Pastor Rotimi Obajimi, who served as a pastor in the rural area of 
Borno/Yobe province, was on his to Maiduguri on January 6th this year 
when Boko Haram militants abducted him.<br />

Another pastor in Redeem church Maiduguri told SaharaReporters that they
 were surprised to see Mr. Obajimi emerge from nowhere, he said,<br />
 “We were so amazed to see him because we have been praying earnestly 
for long time trusting Jesus that he would surely come back but lo and 
behold he was brought to our headquarters in Maiduguri by the 
 military.”<br />

statement. He said, "We were amazed to see him because we have been 
praying earnestly"...Why would you be surprised to see someone you have 
been praying to see?..Except you don't believe in what you are praying

Pastor Rotimi told his colleagues that was taken to Sambisa Forest where
 he was tied down for months, he was later  moved to an unknown 
destination and thereafter  brought   back to Sambisa forest again. He 
reportedly told his colleagues that his escape was made possible by a 
heavy downpour that led to massive floods which sacked everyone in the 
camps. <br />
<br />
Due to the rains, armed men left him and others so he was able to escape
 and for days he  wandered in the forest before he could arrive to a 
village where the military picked him up after narrating his experiences
 to them, they later brought him to Maiduguri.<br />
<br />
He  was later driven to Maimallari Hospital by military escorts,who had his face covered.<br />
<br />
Another pastor revealed that the senior military official at 7 Division 
has advised them to relocate  the pastor to Redemption Camp in Lagos for
 his safety, in fact, adequate provision has been made to fly  him out 
of Maiduguri according to the pastor.<br />

A military source at 7 Division confirmed the escape of Pastor Obajimi 
claiming that he has been fully debriefed by the military.<br />

and told his congregation that he has full-blown AIDS and that he had 
slept with church members who never knew his health status.</span><br />

confessed to the entire membership and then to the city of Montgomery, 
because as soon as he got done confessing, it went all over Montgomery

we [are] making up. It's coming out of his mouth."</span><br />

 the news station, McFarland's announcement has continued to shake the 
Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church to its foundation. Church members told 
the news station that they were stunned to learn, from McFarland's 
admission, that he found out he was HIV-positive in 2003 and has had 
AIDS since 2008. But that wasn't all. According to the news station, 
McFarland also acknowledged that he had used drugs and misused church 
funds.</span><br />

concealed from the church that he had knowingly engaged in adultery in 
the church building with female members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist

members of the church told the news station that the revelation not only
 has stunned the church but also has several women concerned for their

young lady who is a member of the church who says she has slept with him
 and that she didn't want this to go public, and she running out now

heart goes out to her because she's been a wonderful church member, and 
then for something like this to happen. The fact that he didn't tell 
them at all, that's a crime in itself."</span><br />

members of the church believe that if McFarland committed a crime (and 
in Alabama, transmitting a s*xual disease is a Class C misdemeanor), he

that he should be put on trial," another unnamed church member told

leader. It's like, 'Oh no, please, let's not get this out,' but I think 
after this that they will have more discussions on HIV and AIDS."</span><br />
