 in Nigeria a guy will marry and when he makes money he turns his wife

to someone like me, I would have called on the gods of my village to
strike him down for me.<br />Some guys in Nigeria are so irresponsible and
 it drives me insane and sometimes I wonder if ever I would want
anything with a Nigerian guy. I am too scared of what our generation has
 become. When I say turning his wife into a slave, I mean by denying her
 publicly. It is something too wrong for a responsible man to do. I fear
 if these young men are truly the people that would become leaders of
tomorrow. People who deny their families?”<br /><br />When she was reminded that Kcee has said in the past that he is legally married to his wife, Ijeoma Okonkwo, the actress said..</span></span><br />

President Jonathan: I Can't Transform Nigeria Overnight

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
 </div>
President Goodluck Jonathan has reassured that his administration will
do everything possible to improve the welfare of Nigerians. He gave the
assurance while receiving a delegation of the Anglican Communion, led by
 the Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.<br />
<br />
Jonathan pleaded for patience from Nigerians, Jonathan said:<br />
<div>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
“For me and the vice president as well as the Federal Government, by the
 grace of God and the willingness of Nigerians, we will do our best to
improve the quality of lives of our people. We have our transformation
agenda. It is not something we can do overnight, even if you have all
the money in the world. If you want to build a six-storey building, you
must give yourself a period that must be a time for you to complete that
 project. </blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
“We have drawn our map and we have progressed. I believe we are
progressing in the right direction. For you to really build a society,
you need to do things that are critical and continue to do them well.
And those things we now change the world that we are.”</blockquote>
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=6589160015449763735" name="more"></a><br />
He went on: “If we take issues of economy, transport, and
infrastructure, those things that will improve the economy; and if the
government continues to do those things very well, it would not take a
lifetime for this country to change. It would not take more than 10
years. Within a space of 10 years, you would see major changes.<br />
<br />
“We are totally committed to doing our best to improve on the quality of
 lives of our people. All what we require from you as spiritual fathers
is to pray for us for God to give us the wisdom and mind to do what is
right because it takes on God to lead.<br />
<br />
“Without the fear of God, nobody can lead well. We are all humans. We
are pushed into all kinds of situations. But if God is with you, no
matter the challenges, no matter the circumstances you find yourselves.
My prayer everyday is for God to use me to improve this country
positively. And I believe that is why I am here today.<br />
<br />
“My political journey is what nobody can tell. Without God, I wouldn’t
have been here because most people know about it, but maybe when I leave
 office, that is when I will tell the true story of my journey.<br />
<br />
“But I believe very clearly that it is God that made it possible; to
even be a deputy governor in the first place, not to talk about being a
president. I promise I will do my best.”</div>
<div>

The church conferred a “Primatial Award” on the President during the visit.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
 </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">In 2012, an Abuja-based taxi driver, Mr. Imeh Usuah told <u><i>ThisDay </i></u>that,
 “It was one morning by 5.30 AM, in November, 2007, when British
Airways, landed at the international wing of the airport in Abuja. As
usual, I positioned myself from metres away from the arrival wing
waiting for passengers to come out so that I can get my customers and
take them where ever they want to go inside town.</span></span><br />
<blockquote>
<i><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">“In
 my waiting position I saw these two white men who came with the British
 airways. From distance I could observe that they were obviously tired
from their look. They beckoned on me requesting for a drop at the Hilton
 Transcorp Hotel in Maitama area in Abuja. I didn’t waste time as I
immediately put some of their bags into the boot of my cab and the
remaining ones neatly arranged on the back seat and underneath the
seats, and off I headed for the destination. I arrived at the hotel
lounge within 45 minutes and dropped them with their luggage. I got paid
 N,4000 for my service and I zoomed off, but unknown to both of us there
 was a bag which contained this huge amount of money left behind tucked
away underneath my seat.”</span></span></i><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">On how he discovered the money, he said: <i>“I
 decided to take the cab for washing as my usual practice after the
day’s work, and while I was removing the foot mats in a bent down
position, I saw this brown suite case tucked underneath the driver’s
seat. Immediately I remembered the passengers I had carried for the day
and I started thinking of who really among them could have forgotten the
 suitcase. Instinctively I knew it was one of the many bags belonging to
 those chaps I took to Transcorp Hilton. Even though I didn’t open the
suitcase, I sensed at that hour that it must at least contain some
valuable items. My immediate response was to inform our association
chairman at that time, Mr. Alex Ekwueme Udom. I told him what happened
and that I was returning the bag to the owners.”</i></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">He further added that, <i>“By
 the time I met these guys, the owners of the bag at the hotel, they
were standing at the hotel lobby confused, dejected and frustrated. They
 couldn’t even recognise me as the cab driver that brought them from the
 airport and shockingly they didn’t know the number of taxi. But, I
could recognise them. These people could not believe their eyes. Their
confused state disappeared, and they were so happy that they went on
their knees thanking me for returning the bag. They requested for my GSM
 numbers and in a twinkle of an eye, I disappeared from the scene.” </i></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"></span></span></blockquote>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></span>
<br />

<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Usuah didn’t know the content of the bag: <i>“It
 was after sometime that the Abuja Leasing Company called our
association that a report got to them of somebody who returned the sum
of N18 million left in his cab. Honestly that was when I knew that the
bag I returned that fateful day contained that amount of money.”</i></span></span> </div>
