Barely
a week after a building belonging to Christ Chosen Church of God
collapsed in Edo state killing three people, another church building has
collapsed in the state.

A building belonging to Liberty Power Bible Church a.k.a Power Palace at Asoro Slope, off Ekenwan Road in Benin city, Edo state, collapsed yesterday September 28th.

According
to reports, the incident happened shortly after members of the church
left the building after the close of service. No life was lost.

The
owner of the land where the church was being constructed, Ajor
Sylvanus, told reporters that the building collapsed because it was not
properly built...

“The storm
that followed the rain was much but I have been complaining about the
building structure. The pastor built the church like a fence, no pillar.
The block is just ordinary sand. I have been telling him that no pillar
would cause the building to collapse. The building fell on my building
and damaged many things. I thanked God that nobody died. When the pastor
came, he was concerned about the musical instrument in his church and
thanked God that his church members were not around when the building
fell. I had to call the police. The building has already cracked and I
have been warning the pastor that the building will collapse.” he said

Chairman of Onitsha Newspapers Directors Distributors Association (ONDDA) Mr. Jude Oguzie said

“Sometime
in July this year we got a report from our vendors selling under the
bridge that they were being harassed by policemen for selling their
papers and magazines under the bridge, and I went with my Vice Chairman
and Secretary Mr. Christian Ikpe and Elder Emma Uwakwe to meet with the
police.

“The
police told us during our meeting that they were under instruction from
the Idemili North Council boss not to allow anybody to sell papers
under the bridge, when we probed further to know their reason for
preventing our vendors, the policemen told us that they can only allow
our vendors if we will be paying them N5000 weekly.

“We
reminded them that vendors are among the people on essential duties
that are not disturbed even during elections, population census,
national and state sanitation exercise and even time of curfew but they
insisted on being paid, we however, told them that we will present their
demands to the media houses to see if it will be approved.

“We
did not know that the vendors later entered into agreement with the
police to pay them N2000 weekly after initial payment of N5000, but when
it became very unbearable to them they decided to stop and the police
swooped on them and destroyed their papers”

When
we got this latest information about the destruction of our papers by
the police, we went again to meet them and to our greatest surprise the
police men recognized us and ordered the vendors who gathered around to
leave the scene for them to discuss with us, and they told us that they
cannot allow our vendors unless we pay them the N5000.

Oguzie
said the vendors have been paying the police N2000 since June this year
and they decided not to pay for last week and the police got angry and
resorted to destroying their papers, they did the first day being
Tuesday 23 and we went to the Local government to report and we were
issued with a letter permitting but the policemen ignored the directive
and came the third time being on September 27 to destroy more papers and
claimed that their order came from the Area Commander in charge of the
place and no more the Local Government.

The
actresses should be in their late 40s. Both of them are not only fair
skinned, they are also from the Eastern part of the country. Although
one is from Anambra and the other is from Abia State. The one from
Anambra has never been married, but she has a child out of wedlock. The
other one does not have any yet. But she’s been married, even though the
marriage later crumbled. The two of them made their names
starring in two popular soap operas that are defunct now. They, however,
became more popular with the advent of Nollywood. Where they took part
in some of the earliest movies which catapulted their popularity to the
roof top and also made them household names. Alphabets F and N
begin their first names, and alphabets JD that of the boyfriend in
question. Lady N was going out with JD before Lady F snatched him from
her, after offering the South South dude a role in her movie. Now, there
is serious tension on their set. Not only that, the two of them have
become sworn enemies, with Lady N threatening that no woman can snatch
her man and go scot free. Including Lady F. The lover boy, was dating
another pretty lady that shares the same name with his aggrieved lover
before they parted ways. Also into modelling, he’s good looking and said
to be very, very good in bed. He is equally in his 40 and still single.

Should Nigerian celebrities keep lying just to get attention either on social media or in any platform to get attention?

Well, this
has to do with Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu Johnson, who is fond of
tricking her fans to believe some certain lifestyle she is not worth.
Well recently, the actress took to her social media to announce that she
was now an Airtel ambassador, she Later delete the post where she stated
that.

She also
went to her Instagram page to delete the picture she took with one of
the maybe Aitel or Vas2net official which is the picture above. In
posting the picture on her social media, she clearly stated it there
that she was an ambassador but now denying that she ever said so.

Earlier
today after seeing the viral post of her being an ambassador, she
immediately retracted her message and wrote thus, “Good morning twitter
family, please I was invited by vas2net to be part of the Careline they
just launched with Airtel, I am not Airtel ambassador pls.”

Well this is
actually getting into her fans as she cannot be trusted probably
bringing another ‘Alakada’ into reality forgetting that it tends to
portray her off credible records.

Recall that
recently she took to her social media page to announce that she was paid
N1.5million to Compere a Wedding Ceremony which now makes her the
highest paid MC. Well, indeed, the actress is really playing another
‘Alakada’ Movie part three on her fans.

Toyin even
claimed that the lady she anchored her wedding for had to even beg her
to collect the money which she initially declined but had to collect and
helped her in getting expensive gifts and lots of pampers.

We also
recall that she once said that her past ways of live hindered her from
getting endorsement deals. Adding that it took her husband time to
enlighten her and make her see some of her shortcomings. That short
coming has not been seen till date as she keeps feeding her fans with
lies. Please there is no hating here but the fact about her Airtel
claims some days back.

One Mrs.
Bethelyn Falade was dragged to the police for pouring steaming hot water
on her hapless house maid, a 12-year-old girl whose name was given as
Chinemerem Sunday for the offence of being stubborn.

     According to the Punch Newspaper
report, the 27 year old Bethelyn's reasons for the nasty act was
triggered by her missing laptop which the maid said was taken by her
brother-in-law, identified as Lekan, while she was not around.

The police
say Bethelyn who is from Abia State, grabbed a kettle on the gas cooker
filled with boiling water and emptied the hot contents on the girl's
chest on the grounds that she should have notified her before allowing
her brother-in-law take the laptop.
The woman
neighbours in her Church Street, Powerline, in the Ijaiye-Ojokoro area
of Lagos, were the ones who alerted a human rights group after they saw
the badly burnt chest of the girl. Subsequently, the group brought in
the police and she was arrested.
She later
appeared before a Magistrate’s Court at Ojokoro in the Ifako-IJaiye on
two counts of maltreatment and assault where she is being prosecuted.
What do you think should be done to such an inhumane lady?

Apparently, Yoruba speaking actresses are terribly underpaid for starring in movies.

the Yoruba sector of the industry to survive solely on the money they
make from acting.

The mother of two, says most Yoruba female actors have side businesses, which they make money from, while also acting.

In a recent
interview with PlaygroundTV, she said, “It is not possible for Yoruba
speaking actress to rely on movies alone. How do you want to survive on
that? Acting is just something I like to do, whether it is rewarding or
not.”

Ojo also added that she had been involved in a couple of business ventures before she went into acting.

“Like I
said, even before I became an actress, I have always been into buying
