Nigerians are currently paying more for cement than most countries 
around us, even smaller countries. But it seems all that would soon 
change. Dangote Cement has assured Nigerians that the era of highly 
priced cement will soon be over as it has concluded plans to increase 
its production in all its three key plants in the country and also 
simplify its distribution network with the aim of crashing the price and
 making the products available to all Nigerians.<br />

President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, disclosed this at a recent 
customers’ forum held in Kano State. He said that his company had 
concluded plans to expand the capacity of its production lines, in 
Obajana, Kogi state, Gboko, Benue state, and Ibese, Ogun state, from the
 current 19.25 million metric tonnes (mmt) by additional 9 million tons 
by the end of the year.<br />

Dangote further said that the expansion will move the production output 
of the three manufacturing plants to about 28 million tonnes, which will
 position his company as the biggest cement production entity in 
Africa. </blockquote>

Justifying the production of the new 42.5 grade of cement in the 
country, Dangote said, the move was borne out of the quest to save the 
nation from the national embarrassment of mounting incidents of building
 collapse, with its attendance loss of lives and property.</blockquote>

A Police Officer, Inspector Danjuma Daniel attached to a police division
 in Apapa, Lagos, died on Thursday afternoon during a fight with his own
 wife.<br />
<br />
The scuffle between Inspector Daniel and his wife got so serious  that 
the couple fell from the balcony of their apartment ─ a two-storey 
building. The couple, it was learnt, was staying at the Ijeh Police 
Barracks, Obalende, Lagos.<br />

had lived in the barracks for about 10 years, sustained grave injuries

According to Punch, when they were rushed to a nearby hospital, Daniel 
was said to have been confirmed dead by the medical personnel, while the

It was learnt that Ada, a trader in a nearby market, was discharged from hospital on Saturday morning.<br />
<br />
Speaking with Punch in Lagos, Daniel’s first son, Emmanuel, said he was 
informed about his father’s death on the telephone. He explained that he
 was staying with an uncle in the Mile 2 area of the state.<br />
<br />
He said, “I don’t know what could have caused the fight. I was not at 
home. Dad and mum have lived in this barracks for about 10 years now.<br />
<br />
“We were formerly staying in Nasarawa State where dad initially served. 
In Lagos, I don’t stay with them, but my two sisters do. Mum has 
returned from the hospital, and she is back home now, but she cannot 
talk to anyone for now.”<br />
<br />
However, it was learnt from a resident that Daniel, an Eggon man from 
Nasarawa State, had had clashes with his wife before the incident. The 
source added that the fight on Thursday suddenly turned ugly and led to 
their falling off from the two-storey building.</div>

It was a touching moment when Rivers State Governor and Chairman of 
Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, did

to act fast to rescue Nigeria from the dungeon by contesting the 2015 
presidential election as the only panacea to the present sad state of 
affairs in the country. The plea was made by the cousin of Chief Nyesom 
Wike and a leading light of the Rumueprikom community, Barr. Tasie Wike,
 during Amaechi’s resumed Meet-the-People Tour of Obio Akpor LGA.<br />

This request, according to Barr. Wike, is borne out of the fact that 
Governor Amaechi has contributed immensely to the economic development 
of the State and the country in general and in view of his 
administration’s landmark achievements which speak for themselves.<br />

Presenting his community’s address, Barr. Wike said: “We are convinced 
that despite the huge effort put in place by our detractors to run you 
down, history and providence will speak volumes of your track records of
 infrastructural development which are unprecedented in the annals of 
Rivers State and indeed Nigeria. We must sincerely commend and 
congratulate you for putting Rumueprikom clan on the threshold of 
history of Rivers State – indeed Nigeria – in the elevation of our 
traditional stool and influencing the appointment of one of our sons as a
 Minister of State of Education in the person of Chief Nyesom Wike, as 
well as Chief Promise Onuoha and Chief Cyprian Chukwu as members of 
Rivers State Local Government Service Commission, not minding that none 
of these are members of APC and are now constituting themselves as 
nuisance and stumbling block to further developments of our community.<br />
<br />
“Your other areas of intervention in our community include construction 
of the Ada-George Road, Epirikom/Rumuolumeni Road, Rumuepirikom Health 
Centre, Rumuepirikom Community Secondary School, Elioparanwo Primary 
School, among other great feats. All these notwithstanding, we wish to 
express our huge disappointment over our son, Chief Nyesom Wike, for 
failing to fix internal roads in our community while he was given 
hundred percent on the contracts by the Amaechi-led administration to 
execute these road projects. It is worthy to recall that Rumuepirikom 
internal road network was awarded to Chief Nyesom Wike. Your Excellency,
 after we visited D/Line area of Port Harcourt and saw the internal road
 network constructed there and compared them with what was done in our 
community by our own son we wept. Our Governor, there is need to revisit
 the slipshod construction done on our internal roads by Nyesom Wike and
 imagine what a man has unleashed on his own community. What a dastardly
 act!”</div>

Responding, Governor Amaechi thanked the people for their support and 
assured them of more developmental projects, including the construction 
of Rumuagholu Road in Ward 7 and completion of Rumuomoi Road in Ward 12 
as well construction of Eiohani/Eneka Road in Ward 1. The Governor said:
 “I thank all of you for the opportunity to address you. It’s basically 
for the interest of Rivers State that we are here. There is no village 
in Rivers State you will go to that you won’t see either a primary or a 
model health centre that I built. It is our responsibility, not about 
politics. And if you like, you can vote APC or you can vote PDP or any 
other political party but to meet your needs is my responsibility. I am 
paid salary for it and it is the reason for which I drive a free car, 
use free fuel, eat free food and enjoy free sleep.”</div>

The communities visited by the Governor and his team in the course of 
the week included Rumueprikom, Eliparanwo, Rukpokwu, Eneka, 
Rukpakwolusi, Eligbolo, Awalama, Rumuuagholu, Elieke, Ekinigbo, Orosi, 
Rumuadaolu, Rumuola, Rumuokwuta, Oroigwe, Rumunduru, Eliozu, and 
Elimgbu, among others. All these communities are in Wards 9, 1, 12, 7 
and 13. <br />

In Amaechi’s team during the tour were other great political warriors 
like Chief Hon. Dakuku Peterside; Hon. Ogbo Nwuke; members of the 
Federal House of Reps from the State; Chief Chidi Llyod, the Majority 
Leader in the State House Assembly; Chief Tony Okocha, the Chief of 
Staff to the Governor; Dr. Davies Ikanya, the Rivers State APC Chairman;
 Hon. Emmanuel Chinda, the Commissioner of Agriculture; Hons. Ike Chinwo
 and Igo Aguma, former members of the House of Representatives; Hon. 
Ojukaye Flag Amachree; Barr Lawrence Chukwu; Chief Ambrose Nwuzi; Hon. 
Weli, the Commissioner for Environment, Evangelist Carol Nagbo, the APC 
State Women Leader, Princess Urey Ejims, the Commissioner for Women 
Affairs; Mrs. Kate Ngbor; and Elder Chidi Wihoka, among others.<br />

Chief of Staff, Chief Tony Okocha, in a symbolic gesture led the team to
 walk the one kilometre route to the venue of the event from Chief 
Nyesom Wike’s family compound. He described the successful outing in 
Chief Nyesom Wike’s community as the fall of the wall of Jerico and 
collapse of whatever maybe the myth or political power base of the 
junior minister.<br />

It would be recalled that Governor Amaechi had suspended the tour on 
13th August, 2014 in honour of the erstwhile Mayor of Port Harcourt, 
Hon. Charles Paul Ejekwu, who died that day but whose memory was 
desecrated by PDP, which hired thugs to cause havoc at Rumueprikom in 
order to sabotage and disrupt the tour, destroying the canopies and 
chairs arranged at strategic locations in Obio/Akpor, shooting 
sporadically into the air, breaking bottles on the roads, destructing 
property and injuring innocent persons. <br />

as The Nigerian Times is claims that Rev. Ken Oyakhilome, younger 
brother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has also been accused of "<span style="color: #cc0000;">fornic*tion</span>" and "<span style="color: #cc0000;">adul-tery</span>".<br />

After reports emerged in the media that Pastor Chris' wife, Rev. Anita, 
had filed for divorce in the UK, citing ‘adul-tery’ and ‘unreasonable 
behaviour’, many members of their church and other Nigerians have 
expressed shock and disbelief as they were in the dark on the marital 
crises facing the couple.<br />

Now the scandal may even get worse. Pastor Chris’ younger brother, known
 as Rev. Ken, was alleged to have impregnated a South African lady, who 
is a member of the Church in Randburg, Guateng, which is the 
headquarters of Christ Embassy, South Africa.<br />

secret among members of the Church in South Africa and the alleged 
pregnancy of the lady was said to have ruffled feathers among the top

Rev. Ken, used to be the regional pastor of Christ Embassy in charge of 
South Africa until a few years when he was transferred to the branch of 
the church in Texas, USA.<br />
<br />
Like his elder brother, Rev. Ken has lived apart from his wife, Pastor 
Ose, for over ten years now. She used to manage the Okota, Lagos branch 
of the Church while her husband, Ken was the regional pastor in South 
Africa. The couple still lives apart today as Pastor Ose now manages the
 Church in South Africa while her husband, Ken is in Texas, running the 
church there.<br />
<br />
Although the alleged romance between Rev Ken and the said Sister, which 
resulted in pregnancy, was kept a secret, the crisis in the Church 
involving Pastor Chris and his wife Anita, had led to many of such 
secrets tumbling out. Some members of the Church unhappy with happenings
 there had set up Facebook page, Where is Rev Anita, through which they 
vent their frustrations about the secrecy with which the church is run 
and some of the allegedly ungodly things happening there.<br />

From Sister Lebogang Radibela: “<span style="color: #cc0000;">It’s true,
 here in Johannesburg a pastor impregnated a young lady and forced her 
to do abortion, later on the lady was promoted to being a pastor, till 
today she is still a pastor</span>, working together with the wife to 
the pastor who impregnated her. Members act like this is normal; I mean 
where [do] we draw a line?”<br />

it’s our darling older brother Rev Ken himself that activated the 
pregnancy button but it’s shocking to know that our regional pastor, 
Pastor Ose Oyakhilome, a mother herself supported the abortion and by 
(following the principle of the ) 48 laws of power, she’s keeping her 
close. That sounds like what an ‘area mother’ would do and to top it up,
 the grandfather himself Rev Chris ordained the sister a pastor and 
probably help seared the damaged conscience with some rands/dollars. How
 many more in Nigeria region? Time will fail us to speak of Asaba, 
Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Benin and many too numerous to mention.<span style="color: #cc0000;">
 I had to listen to that Youtube message again this morning and I can 
now understand when Pastor Chris said Pastor Anita should have moved 
with those who will help her as the wife of global pastor. Is this what 
she should learn, to help Pastor Yemisi and other indicted ladies</span>?
 Actually Pastor, you forgot to announce the firing of Pastor Pat, the 
CSO as a result of leaked White House (Pastor Chris’ residence in Lagos)
 information and the hiring of a brother-in-law Deacon Kingsley Osazuwa.
 Our darling Rev Ken, it looks like Durex, Trojan, and Gold circle 
condoms etc have all finished in the market because of ….May God have 
mercy but we need to obtain the mercy.”<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, the London branch of the Christ Embassy Church is undergoing a
 major crisis which had led the Charity Commission, the body licensed to
 regulate charities in the UK, to take over its financial administration
 through the appointment of an Interim Manager. The body accused the 
Church Trustees of “serious concerns about the financial management of 
the Church, including in particular large connected payments. Since then
 a books and records inspection has been carried out and the regulator 
has obtained information from and met the trustees, however, the 
regulator’s concerns about the financial management of the charity have 
not been resolved.”<br />
<br />
The Commission therefore used its powers under the UK Charities Act to 
appoint Mr. Rod Weston of Mazars as Interim Manager of the charity to 
the exclusion of the charity’s trustees as a temporary and protective 
measure. The implication is that Mr Weston is now in charge of the 
financial management of the Christ Embassy, UK and will deal with all 
matters relating to finances, to the exclusion of the pastors and staff 
of the Church.</div>
