Ekiti state has allegedly been hit by the deadly Ebola virus as 
Corps members at its orientation camp at Ise/Emure Ekiti ran for dear 
life on Friday.<br />
The corps members were carrying out an exercise at
 the orientation camp, when one of them, believed to have contracted the
 dreaded Ebola virus, suddenly slumped.<br />

The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Olusola Fasuba, confirmed this at an awareness forum in Ado-Ekiti, saying:<br /><br />
“Information
 reaching my office from the Ministry of Youth and Sports confirmed that
 a particular male corps member collapsed at the orientation camp.<br />
But, it was unfortunate that people around him ran away taking his sickness for the dreaded Ebola virus.<br />
“Immediately
 I received the information, I swung into action by ensuring that the 
sick boy was immediately attended to by a team of health workers.<br />
“They later discovered that he was suffering from chronic fever, the information they passed to me without wasting time.<br />
“But,
 I did not stop at that, at least, to be sure of his correct state of 
health, his blood samples were taken and sent to Lagos.<br />
“We received the results on Thursday indicating that he tested negative to the Ebola virus.<br />
“The
 corps member has been taken away from the camp and is currently being 
kept at our isolated centre located within Oba Adejugbe General 
Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.<br />
“As I speak, I assure residents that the 
health of the boy in question is already improving, while he continues 
to show signs of good health far from Ebola,” he explained.<br />

for her elder sister, Aramide, who was getting married the next day, was trying to set things up for the bridal shower she 
had planned for her sister, when her friends (who had planned the surprise proposal with Tobi) persuaded her to let them go
 to one of the eateries very close to the house.<br />

Latest information from family sources indicates that Dr. Stella 
Adadevoh, who treated Nigeria's index Ebola case, is not the doctor who 
survived the deadly virus and, in fact, she is currently in a critical 
condition.<br />

Also, in a statement from the Ministry of Health, it has been clarified 
that Dr. Adadevoh, the first Nigerian to be diagnosed with the disease, 
has in fact not been discharged.<br />

The ministry further states that the nurse who recovered and was 
discharged is a medical officer who worked at the hospital Sawyer was
